            HAVE YOU HEARD THIS VOICE?

THE LORD SPEAKS IN A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. 
David, the wondrous King of Israel. Chosen as a shepherd lad to be king. The Lord sought Himself a man after His own heart and found him in David. 1 Sam. 13:14 

He will do everything I want him to do. Acts 13:22 

David is a type of the Lord Jesus, who is the Word incarnate. It is David who penned the prophetic and romantic words of Psalm Nineteen. He would focus our attention on the heavens above, on the azure blue of the day and the star lit night. Not only to behold the beauty of it but to hear its message. The heavens above us are emitting a constant message of the splendor and the glory of the
Lord. Ps. 19:1 

Scientists have receivers focused of the heavens trying to find if there are others like us out there trying to contact us, but they are entirely missing the message. The only communication coming from the vast universe surrounding us is one that exalts the Lord and tells of His 
majesty.  


THE REVEALED GLORY. 
The heavens declare, a persistent and constant declaration. The vast expanse of space is filled with light from the light bearing sun, moon and stars. Were the Lord to unveil Himself mankind would be totally unable to look upon him. He, Himself is a sun. Jehovah Elohim is a sun. Ps. 84:11 

The sun is not God but the sun is a daily reminder for us that there is a Mighty One who glows with a light that is more brilliant than any created sun in the universe. When there is no more need for that which He has created, He will be our everlasting light. A true light shining in full brightness that will never be extinguished. Isa. 60:19

His very nature and being is light. All light originates with Him. Were it not for Him there would be no light, naturally or spiritually. 1 John 1:5 Before He created light He was light. For a world that was without form and void He created light to lighten that world. The very first day of creation He brought forth a created light especially for this world. Gen. 1:3 

The light bearing bodies were not created until the fourth day. Light was first, then the receptacles to contain that light were created. Gen. 1:14-19 

That glory has been revealed and will be revealed again. On the Mount of Transfiguration the glory of the Lord shone forth from the Lord Jesus until His countenance shone as the sun. The veil was pulled back and His real person revealed. Mt. 17:2 

Paul testified of seeing a light of greater brightness than the sun, shining round about him. That was a true visitation of our living Lord. Acts 26:13 

The redeemed of the Lord will all shine forth with the glory of the sun in the kingdom of our Lord and Savior. Mt. 13:43 

In the ultimate, in the city of the Lord, there will be no longer the light giving bodies but the God of glory and the Lamb will be the light of that glorious and wonderful city of the everlasting presence of the shekinah glory of the Lord. Rev. 21:23 

The light, the warmth that the Lord so generously pours forth upon the world is a constant voice and reminder that he is a mighty God and that He is alive. The voice of His glory is heard daily. 





                 PSALM 19.  2 

THE SKIES PROCLAIM HIS HANDIWORK. 
The immensity of the creation of the Lord in the universe that surrounds us is yet to be determined. Men are still trying to find the extremity, the end or the edge of the macros. The Lord created and placed the celestial bodies in place and determined their circuit in the heavens. They are stated to be the work of His fingers. He ordained them, He set them up and determined their orbit. They exist for His very own purposes. Ps. 8:3 

From the beginning the sun and the moon were established that they might regulate the seasons of the earth. They were also to be as signs marking not only the time of the year but the time of the end of the age. They will bear extensive witness to the approach of the coming of the Lord Jesus a second time. Gen. 1:14


THERE SHALL BE SIGNS. 
To begin with, consider that what we are about to find in the Word of the Lord are signs which will precede the Second Coming of the Christ of God. Jesus will not return until these events have been accomplished. AFTER, these events will be seen the sign of the coming of the Son of man, in a cloud and with great power and glory. Luke 21:27 

To assure that these things must first take place Jesus said, when these things BEGIN to happen, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh. The signs must come first. The redeemed are still on the earth when these signs are given for they will become excited and realize that the time has come. Luke 21:28 

Manifold signs of a great variety, in the heavens and upon the earth. Signs in the sun, moon and stars could be almost any kind of a variance from the normal, and there will be many. A universal quake, a shaking of the established powers of the heavens is scheduled. How can one even imagine the consternation, the great fear that will accompany such an awe inspiring event in the heavens. Luke 21:26 

The Lord is a Lord of mercy and pardon. He uses a principle of a visitation of mercy and grace, an opportunity to repent and definite warnings before judgment. Rev. 2:21 

The effect of all this, on the inhabitants of this earth is horrific. There will be distress, anxiety, perplexity among the nations, a condition which we are experiencing in a small measure today, be assured it will increase. 

The seas with terrific and unusual storms. Inasmuch as the seas typify the peoples of the earth we are not committing an injustice if we add that the peoples of the earth are to be in an uproar, riots, insurrection and mobs of every sort and kind. 

The effect of all this will be enormous upon the peoples of the earth. Because of the intense fear generated by these events their hearts will simply give out on them. These are strong signs that will have a great impact on the daily lives of the inhabitants of this world. Life will never be the same once they commence in the completeness of the sign and warning. 

Amazing, like in Egypt, in spite of the signs and their impact, not all will come to the Lord in repentance. What must be seriously considered here is the fact that these events preclude the Second Coming of the Christ of God.   





                         PSALMS 19.  3

A FINAL PRE-TRIBULATION WARNING. 
This too involves the created light bearing bodies. It will be before the greatest holocaust that the world has ever known breaks forth on the earth. It is both a final warning and a judgment of no small proportions. It takes place at the sound of the third trumpet. The remaining trumpets are dire judgments that occur during the tribulation. The third trumpet introduces a manifestation of the power of the Lord in relationship to the sun, moon and stars. This is not the time of their total darkness, that is yet to come. This is an omen of things to come. 

One-third of the sun, the moon, the stars, the night and the day will be stricken and plunged into darkness. It is interesting to note that there are five areas which are to be smitten, Five is the number of atonement and this is a last minute opportunity for the peoples of this world to come to repentance and new birth. 

No one will be born again by the Spirit after this judgment has run its course. While there will be people saved during the tribulation period [it will be by faith], by believing that Jesus is the Messiah, without the operation of the Spirit in their lives. 

The one-third of the sun being darkened could well be followed by a third of the day being darkened which would indicate light being totally eliminated for sixteen hours. 

The same would occur with the night. A third of the night time light giving bodies being darkened, then total darkness for a third of the night. 

How long this phenomena would last is not stated. It could be just once and it could be extended for several days. Regardless, it is a serious situation. And will create great consternation among men. Rev. 8:12 


THE HEAVENS AS A TABERNACLE FOR THE SUN.
A tabernacle is a place of worship. It is strictly forbidden to worship the sun or any of the heavenly bodies. Deut. 4:19 

The sun is the greatest light visible to man. There is a multitude of suns that are larger than our sun, but to us it is the biggest and the brightest. Therefore the Lord has chosen it as a symbol to be used in relationship to Himself. Because of the intense glory which surrounds Him He introduced Himself as a sun. Not the sun of our heavens but the true light, the greater light. Ps. 84:11 

The Lord Jesus is termed "the sun of righteousness" by the prophet Malachai. Because Jesus bears the likeness of His Father we would expect to see Him with the same appearance, that of the sun.  Mal. 4:2 

That same precious anointing and glory is noted on the Mt. of Transfiguration where His countenance literally shone as the sun. Mt. 17:2 

To John on the island of Patmos He appeared with the same visage of light and glory. We find Him again in the book of Revelation as He appears as a mighty angel [messenger] where His face is seen as still shining like the sun. 

When we come to the New Jerusalem it is recorded that the sun and other light giving bodies will no longer be needed but the glory of God and of the Lamb will be the exceeding great and precious light of that city. Our sun is a world of fire. Our God is a consuming fire. Heb. 12:29 

The Lord who is a sun, who is a fire, who is light is greater far than all these created bodies. He is the foundation of light and glory. Without Him there would be no glory or light.





                      PSALM 19.  4

"HE MADE THE STARS ALSO" Gen. 1:16 
What an amazing universe surrounds us. Innumerable stars spread around over a vast expanse, the number of stars, or the space utilized is beyond the knowledge of men. We live in a galaxy with billions of stars and in a universe with billions of galaxies, each containing billions of stars. 

Our galaxy may contain up to one hundred billion stars. Our Lord is a God of infinite variety. No two of these stars are identical. The Lord is not boring, He does not need to repeat Himself in the work of creation. 

No two people have the same finger prints, the same eye print, the same voice print, the same DNA. Even identical twins are not identical. There is no end to the differences that He builds in to His creation. The Lord does what man cannot do, He has counted and knows the number of the stars. Ps. 147:4 

Further more, He has given them all names. He named them, not men. Adam named the animals but the Lord named the stars.  The Lord alone knows the depth or the height of the universe. Job 22:12 

Inasmuch as the Lord is the originator and the giver of their names their names should be of interest to us. Isa. 40:26 


COUNT THEM IF YOU CAN. 
The Lord used the stars as a measurement for the number of the descendants of Abraham. Abraham was challenged to number the stars that he might have knowledge of the number of his progeny. With the clear atmosphere of that day and with the fact that the Lord wanted him to see and understand the immense number of his descendants, it could well have been that the Lord gave Abraham the ability to see as the Lord Himself was able to view the heavens. Gen. 15:5

If by any chance Abraham missed the intent and purpose of the Lord, the Lord added yet other measurements. These items add to and would help verify the thought that Abraham must have seen a full complement of the starry heavens. The dust of the earth is surely one that we can readily visualize, it surrounds us, it overwhelms us, it enters our homes and dirties our cars. It is everywhere and certainly not countable. Gen. 13:16 

Added to that is the sand by the sea shore. So once again we are faced with a commodity of which there is no way that we could arrive at a full and complete number of the grains of sand spread around the world. Gen. 22:17 

The three measurements used show us that the Lord embraced the dust, the carnal seed. The sand, the religious seed. The stars, the heavenly or spiritual seed and acknowledged them all as the seed of Abraham, which rightfully they are, but not all will receive eternal life. Including the whole of the three segments of Abraham's seed and counting their number would leave us far short of the fulfillment of the promise. 

We have not seen such vast numbers as the stars, dust and sand in his descendants to date.  We may be well assured that when the Lord makes a promise He will see to it that it is accomplished. The descendants of Abraham, through the Spiritual seed the Lord Jesus will be used to finish the divine purpose of the Lord.





                PSALM 19.  5

THE HEAVENS, THE TABERNACLE OF THE SUN. 
Scientifically we know that the sun is not the center of the universe and that it is but a small part of the whole. To us it is the faithful source of life. The ability to live on the earth is totally dependent on the sun. It speaks to us of the faithfulness of the Lord. From the Tabernacle of the skies there is a consistent message to be heard and that is the message of salvation. As we have already seen there will also be a time when the warning of the Lord will be heard from the Tabernacle of the skies.  Ps. 19:4 

The Lord considers the message of the stars to be an every day and every night declaration. Announcing that there is no language on the face of the earth where their words are not heard and that in great abundance. The word "utterance" means to flow in abundance, to gush forth. It is obvious, from the Lords stand point that His creation has a strong message for mankind. Ps. 19:2-4 


THE COMMUNICATION OF THE STARS IS OF THE LORD. 
A sound which has gone into all the earth and unto the end of the world. There had to have been a time when the heavens were used to proclaim the will and design of the Lord. I visualize a father sitting with his son under the starry heavens using the stars as a means of explaining to him the plan of the Lord in salvation. The entire message is there but has been corrupted by those who would mislead and exploit anything that originates from the Lord. 


THE HEAVENS ARE DIVIDED INTO TWELVE HOUSES. 
The heavens above are divided into twelve different sections. The sun each month is in a different house or area of the sky. These are the degrees or steps through the sun will pass in the period of a years time, and will correspond with the twelve months of the year. 

The names ascribed to these houses are all of spiritual significance and are in agreement with the Word. We are not dealing with astrology but spiritual astronomy and understanding of the heavens that originated with the Lord. We will only relate to that which agrees with the Scriptures and that is significant. It is our determination to seek out that manner, and the sound of the voice of the Lord where He uses the heavens and the created light giving bodies for communication with this world. 

Remember, it was the Lord Himself who named and numbered them. He would do so for His own means and intent. That the names were know to His people is evidenced by the witness and testimony of Job, when he mentioned Arcturus, Orion and Pleiades and the constellations of the south. Job 9:9 Amos 5:8 

They were also knowledgeable of the signs given to the different constellations, such as the Bear and its cubs. Job 38:31-32 

The symbology of the stars, in a negative sense may be noted in the reference to the "wandering stars" of Jude thirteen. In a positive sense they are found in the book of Revelation where they are representative of the leadership of the church. Rev. 1:20, 2:1 and elsewhere. The Lord does nothing without a divine expectation and a goal to be accomplished.





                PSALM 19.  6 

HEAVEN, THE DOMICILE OF THE LORD. 
Heaven is not a mystical place but is very real. Much more so than the earth on which we dwell. Heaven is eternal, everlasting and will never cease to exist. It will eventually be located on a new celestial body. It is spiritual and therefore will never pass away. 2 Pet. 3:11 

The universe and earth are temporal and are destined to be destroyed. Heaven is a real site. The Lord Jesus promised that He would prepare a place [Topos-a location, space or home]. Our word topography is is derived from this Greek word. In other words, it shows the reality of heaven. The spiritual world is far more authentic than the natural for it is the Lord's dwelling place and we are invited to share it with Him. John 14:3

The goal of Abraham was this country, this eternal homeland, with its prepared city. Though he had not achieved his objective. He died in faith. Those born of the man of faith received the same promises and vision and were filled with the same expectation. Anticipating a better country, that is, the heavenly with its eternal city. They looked forward to the real thing. Heb. 11:14


HIS THRONE. 
Heaven is His throne, not merely the place of His throne but the whole of heaven is His throne. Mt. 5:34 

The earth is His footstool. He is omnipresent, filing both heaven and earth. Of what need or necessity is a 1building to Him? Acts 7:49 

Although He manifest Himself in the Tabernacle and the Temple He has absolutely no interest in such today. The building of His delight and concern is the spirit nature of the redeemed. Ye are the
temple of God. 1 Cor. 3:16 

There is no secret hiding place where one might go to escape Him. He fills all of heaven and all of earth. Jer. 23:24 

The throne of God is the throne of Christ. The Lord Jesus was explicitly formed and chosen of the Lord to sit upon the throne of the Lord. Acts 2:30 

His exaltation to the throne is evidence of both His Deity and His acceptance as an occupant of that glorious, eternal throne. Heb. 1:8 

It is Christ who will build the true temple of the Lord. He will reign, clothed in the majestic
robes of the Lord. He is enthroned not only as a King but also as a Priest. One who is touched by the feeling of our infirmities. Zach. 6:13 

It is a throne which is most approachable. We need not fear rejection, only acceptance, for it is the throne of the grace of the Lord. Heb. 4:16 

The peace of the Lord is to be found by approaching this glorious throne. 1 Kings 2:33 

This is the throne of love and faithfulness, that which may not be found elsewhere is lavishly granted to those of this wondrous kingdom. Isa. 16:5 

Full occupancy of the throne is assured by receiving the overcomer and privileging them to sit on the throne. To accommodate all who will be accepted for a place on the throne it will have to be one huge throne. Rev. 3:1 

This throne is the source of the manifest glory of the Lord. All the majestic, the glorious effulgency and shining forth of the glory of the Lord and of the throne is to be bestowed upon the Lord Jesus. The Father is exceedingly pleased with the Son of His good pleasure. So much so, that when Jesus returns He will not only come in glory but will sit upon His throne of heavenly glory. Mt. 25:31




                PSALM 19.  7

HEAVEN, WHERE IS IT? 
The physical location of what Jesus called, "My Father's house". John 14:2 

A home, the abiding place of the family, it has a warm and cosy sound. It is best going to be identified by the conditions that exist there, of which there are many to be found in the scriptures. In passing it is interesting to note that the twelve degrees or steps through which the sun passes in the sky are also known as houses or mansions. 

It must also be noted that there are twelve of these signs through which the sun will pass in a years time. The number twelve relates to divinely appointed government. The twelve sons of Jacob, resulting in the twelve tribes of Israel and then the twelve Apostles of the Lamb, chosen and appointed by the Lord Jesus.  


HEAVEN, THE SOURCE AND DISPLAY OF GLORIOUS LIGHT. 
The very nature and being of the Lord is that of glorious light. All light originates with the Lord. Whether natural or spiritual, He is the only source. Without light we could not see, we would be in absolute darkness and like those in Egypt, unable to move. A thick, gross darkness, a darkness that could be felt like that of a totally blind person. So complete and absolute that they did not move for the three days when the darkness was upon them. Ex. 10:21 

One of the absolutes of the Lord is the fact that "HE IS LIGHT". 1 John 1:5 

All that is light emanates from Him. There is no darkness in Him. It is in His light that we are able to see light, while true in a natural sense, it is much more so in a spiritual sense. Unless the Lord enlightens us we simply do not see nor understand His being and His Word. Ps. 36:9b 

In heaven and in the eternity to come there is but one real light [No artificial light whatsoever] that enlightens His home. Isa. 60:19b 

John the Baptist bore witness and testimony of the TRUE LIGHT. That light we acknowledge to be the Lord Jesus. John 1:9 

Jesus Himself proclaimed that He was the LIGHT OF THE WORLD and that those who follow Him will not walk in darkness but possess the LIGHT OF LIFE. Truly He is the light that produces and sustains life. All life, vegetable and animal is completely dependent on light. All spiritual life must experience the glorious light of the Gospel. Walking in Him we will not walk in darkness. John 8:12. 

The home, the dwelling place of the Lord is that of such  strong and glorious light that it is stated to be unapproachable. So when we attempt to search out the dwelling place, the throne of the Lord we must find a place in our galaxy which is absolutely impossible for natural men to access. 
I Tim. 6:16 

The Lord covers Himself, clothes Himself with light. Ps. 104:2


He is the Father of lights, which would include every manner of light. He has given birth to it all light and is the constant fountainhead of all light. No wonder the scripture acknowledges Him to be a SUN and shield. Ps. 84:11 

The Lord is light, He dwells in light, He is clothed in light, all light shines forth from Him. His throne is a throne of light and is located in a world of life producing light. Find the place of light and you have discovered His home. 





                    PSALM 19.  8

THE LORD REVEALED AS A LORD OF FIRE. 
Fire, like light, is a characteristic of the Lord whom we love and serve. Most assuredly fire is not God. However, the Lord has been consistent in revealing Himself in a fire that is singularly His. The Lord ratified His covenant with Abraham by fire. A smoking furnace symbolizing the very furnace of affliction through which Israel would pass in Egypt. Deut. 4:20 

The burning lamp, the light of His presence while they went through the sufferings of Egypt. The lamp typical of the salvation of the Lord and their release from bondage. Isa. 62:1

The fire of the Lord and the light of the Lord sealed and verified the promises of the Lord.


THE CALL OF THE LORD TO MOSES. 
The angel of the Lord is always a theophany of the Lord Jesus, the Logos, the living Word. It was He who appeared to Moses in a flame of fire. While it appeared that the bush and the mountain were burning, they were not on fire, for it was not consumed. The fire was in the person who had come to meet with Moses. It was not the ordinary kind of fire but that which is very God, Himself. For our God is a consuming fire. Heb. 12:29 

The most wonderful thing about this encounter between the Lord and Moses was that the fire, the glory of the Lord was upon Moses and remained on him so that it became necessary for him to veil his face from the people Israel. Ex. 34:30, 35


THE PILLAR OF FIRE AS A PROTECTION AND GUIDE. 
Notice carefully that it was much more than a miraculous manifestation of a pillar, it was the Lord Jehovah who accompanied them in their journey, enabling them to travel night or day. Ex. 13:21 

The pillar had personality. We have already seen that it was the Lord. It was also called an angel who was to guide them on their journey and to conduct them to a place prepared for them. Any place prepared By the Lord is going to be excellent. Ex. 23:20 

However that angel was not an ordinary angel for He carried the name of the Lord. They were to fully obey Him and not to provoke Him, for He would not pardon them. There is only one sin that is unpardonable and that is the sin against the Holy Spirit. The responsibility of the pillar was to stand between the Israelis and the Egyptians. In that manner the two camps were separated. To Israel, the pillar was light by night. While to the camp of the Egyptians it became a cloud of darkness to them. Amazing, how one object could have two entirely different manifestations to the two groups who were so close. Ex. 14:20 

The Lord looked through the cloud at the Egyptians and threw them into utter confusion. He removed the wheels of their chariots causing them to stall and become stuck in the mud and then to drown as the waters closed in over them. Ex. 14:23-26 

They had no chance for they were fighting against the Lord.





SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM 19.  9   

ONE ASPECT OF HEAVEN AND THE THRONE. 
Heaven is spectacular beyond description. There is nothing casual or mundane about it. Shockingly it is a world of fire. As we have already noted, the Lord Himself is a consuming fire. Heb. 12:9 

Perhaps it would be well to take time here to consider the type of fire of which the Word is speaking. This fire can be both a great blessing and a terrible judgment. The beneficial fire is seen descending on the day of Pentecost. When cloven tongues of fire fell on the waiting church in Jerusalem and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4 

John had prophesied that Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit and FIRE. That baptism of fire is exciting. It is cleansing. It is filled with power. It is ecstasy beyond any other experience in life. Today there should be more emphases on the fire than on tongues. It is the fire that energizes and anoints. The fire sanctifies and purifies. 

Too many speak in tongues but have no fire, nor sanctification in their lives. Because of that particular aspect and attribute of His being we should not be shocked at the revelation of the scriptures that heaven is a place of fire. The throne of the Lord is a throne of fire and is surrounded by fire. Dan. 7:9 

A stream of fire, the energy of the Spirit flows out from the throne inundating the redeemed who are seen standing before His thrones. The power and glory of the Spirit is sweeping out over them like a river at flood time. Who can illustrate or declare the joy and blessing that is flowing to them. It is like a constant baptism of the Spirit only far greater. It is bliss immeasurable.


THE REDEEMED WILL DWELL IN FIRE. 
There is no comparison whatsoever between the two places of eternal fire and the consequences. The fires of hell are a judgment. The fire of Heaven is the fullness of the blessing of the Lord. Isaiah posed the question, who shall dwell with the devouring fire, who will dwell with everlasting burning? That is an excellent question that must be answered by each and every individual. It is very personal. Isa. 33:14 

The next verse is an answer to the question. Those who will dwell with the God who is a flaming fire are the righteous. Whose walk and speech is according to the will and desire of the Lord. They will dwell on high. They will constantly look upon their King in all of His glory and beauty. Isa. 33:15-17 

Ezekiel saw the majesty of the Lord. He describes Him as being fire from head to foot. Eze. 1:27 

The Revelation pictures the overcoming gathered before the throne of the Lord on the sea of glass which is mingled with fire. Most assuredly the righteous are going to dwell with fire and be filled with that very fire. Rev. 15:2 

The cloud clothed being, descending from heaven has feet like pillars of fire. Because of association, like Moses on Sinai, His face is shining like the sun. He is crowned with a complete rainbow which is symbolic of the Godhead because of its three main colors, The three, making one rainbow. Rev. 10:1

May the Lord take His Word and create in us an all consuming hunger to live in the fire of the Almighty and to be consumed by that Holy fire.





     SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM 19. 10

THE FIRST BOOK. THE BOOK OF THE REDEEMER. HIS FIRST COMING.

    VIRGO. The Virgin. In Hebrew - Bethulah, the maiden. In Arabic, Adarah, the pure virgin. In Greek - Parthenos, the maid of virgin pureness. The mother of the promised seed. The first sign. The beginning of the message recorded in the heavens. Each sign occupies thirty degrees in the heavens. Thirty is the number of consecration. The priests were consecrated to their ministry at the age of thirty. Num. 4:3 

Joseph was commissioned of Pharaoh. Gen. 41:46 

Jesus was thirty years of age when He began His ministry. Lk. 3:23 

It is amazing that the starry heavens show forth the message of the Gospel prior to the coming of the Living Word who was born of a Virgin. From the beginning the prophecy of the defeat of the powers of darkness by the seed of the woman had been declared. Gen. 3:16


    A SIGN FROM THE LORD. 
It is obvious, from the scriptures, that the Lord gives evidence, signs of events that He sponsors as a warning or a signal. Isa. 7:14 

In the sign Virgo, the Virgin is shown in a prostate position, thus indicating the fallen nature of man. All have sinned , all are concluded under sin. Gal. 3:22 

The Virgin is shown holding a branch in one had and an ear of wheat in the other. This is indicated by a star named SPICA, which is the brightest star in this constellation. It is a star of the first magnitude of brightness. The light of the Lord visited the earth in the birth of the Christ child, born of the Virgin. Luke 2:32 

It has a blue and white color. Colors which are fitting for a Virgin. White is the color of 
purity while blue is the color of the Holy Spirit. Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 

It is a double star indicating a close companion, on the color spectrum. Paul espoused the church to Christ as a chaste virgin. 1 Cor. 11:2 

The Lord will have a perfect and glorious church. He has determined it and will accomplish His divine purpose. Eph. 5:25 

The Lord Jesus is that ear of wheat which was presented to the world by the Virgin and was to be planted in the earth and bring forth a bountiful harvest. John 12:24 

The star which represents the branch is named Al-Zimach, in Hebrew it is Zemach, the branch, the root both of which are representative of Christ. He is the one promised to come and to be the rod, the root out of Jesse, the branch out of his roots. Isa. 11:1 

In this manner the Lord presented the Lord Jesus coming, the first time as a babe, with all the innocence and needs of a babe. Weak and humble. Jesse had lived and died in obscurity. David to whom the kingdom had been given was gone and the throne removed from his descendants. Yet out of this dead and decayed stump came forth the Christ, the Son of God. He who was to build the kingdom and establish it forever. Many fail to see that the kingdom is spiritual and not natural or worldly. The people of His day looked for a kingdom but it was not for that time. Acts 1:6-7 






                PSALM 19.  11

    A SIGN FROM THE LORD. 
Continuing with the thought of the root, the Lord Jesus Christ. He was to grow up before His Father as a tender plant, the planting of the Lord. Springing forth from a stump, a people who were spiritually dead. They had been four hundred years without a prophetic voice. Now, suddenly from the root of David this man is brought forth who is to sit upon the throne of David. He was not to be a man who impress others by His physical appearance nor was He a handsome person. Jesus had to have been a very common person. One of those who would never stand out in a crowd. Isa. 53:2 

He came to this world as a little one, a rod, a green twig. Springing forth from that which had been cut down. He became the living Branch. Growing from the family roots of Jesse. However humble His beginnings He was to be anointed with the Spirit of the Lord. What a contrast as the fullness of the Spirit came upon Him. He became the vessel of the seven Spirits of God. Rev. 3:1 

Actually the sevenfold Spirit of the Lord, or the absolute fullness. The sevenfold Spirit is listed for us in Isa. 11:2 

He possessed the complete nature, all the capabilities of the Spirit. He was filled to the fullness of the Spirit of the Almighty. What a marvelous contrast between the shoot and the full grown, anointed tree. 


    HE BECAME THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH. 
A being of strength and honor. As the Root of David, He and only He was capable of opening the seals or to look inside of the sealed book. He is now seen as occupying a position of full authority and power. His bearing is now that of a royal nature. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. Supremely ruling and reigning for eternity. Rev. 5:5 

He is acknowledged as the servant of the Lord and the BRANCH, That all important beginning of a people who will serve the Lord with their whole heart. Zech. 3:8 

Jeremiah introduced Him as being the righteous Branch and the King. Not only is He a righteous Branch and King but He is righteousness and the King of righteousness. To really know Him is to walk in His ways of righteousness. Justice and judgment are perfected in His hands. They are executed in a fair and just manner. Jer. 23:5 

He came as a man, bearing the name, "The BRANCH". Most importantly He is designated as the one who will build the temple of Jehovah. That which is everlasting and eternal. The true temple built of living stones. The everlasting abode of the Lord. Zech. 6:12 

The ultimate destiny of the branch of Jehovah is one of beauty and glory, in great contrast to the lowly beginnings. The tree has now matured and is bearing fruit, the fruit of the earth. Christ as a husband and His wife as His bride will become fruitful, the culmination of the love of two persons who are identical and united in heart, spirit and goal. The sign of the Virgin appears in the month of October or at the time of harvest. The seed of the woman will play a great part in the end time harvest. We may rest assured that it will be a bountiful ingathering.

THE DECANS OF VIRGO. 
A decan is a piece or a part, or divisions, also called directors. There are three to each sign. 

    COMA, is the first in Virgo and represents the desired one. The infant. Taken from the Egyptian language, the word is Shes-nu. The desired one. Jesus is the one referred to in the scriptures when the statement is made that the "desire of all nations shall come". Hag. 2:7 

He, and He alone can satisfy the desire of the heart of man. Many things are substituted for a built in desire for things spiritual. "He has also set eternity in the hearts of men". Eccl. 3:11b NIV. 

There is an area in the psyche of each individual which can only be satisfied by the acceptance of the "desired one", the Lord Jesus. It must be noted that this prophecy came at the time of the Feast of Tabernacles. The only Feast which has yet to be fulfilled in the Spiritual experiences prepared for the Church. The Feast of Tabernacles is the time of the perfecting of the Bride of Christ. The house, the Bride is to be filled to the point of absolute saturation with the abundance of the Godhead. Eph. 3:19 

The glory of the last house is to be the manifestation of the very ultimate of His glory and power. There never has been a body, a tribe, a nation like that which is on the immediate horizon. Hag. 2:9 

It is not without purpose that a prophecy relating to the Lord Jesus should use the analogy, and compare Him to a rising star. He is the star of Jacob. Num. 24:17 

The true light. John 8:12 The dawning of a new day and a new life which are to be found in Christ Jesus. Isn't it beautiful as we study the starry heavens we discover that Jesus is a star. Every star is a sun, so it is fitting that He also be called a Sun. Then, to further emphasize the type, He is the Sun of righteousness. Mal. 4:2


    CENTAURUS - Al Beze - The despised one. 
The Lord Jesus, more than any man before Him or since was despised, treated with disdain, scorned and ridiculed. The emotions of which would certainly be intensified by the fact of who He was, the Son of God. From whence He had come and the purpose of His coming into this world. 

Rejected, is there anything that hurts quite as deeply as rejection. To be cast aside and to be considered worthless and unnecessary creates such intense feelings. A man of sorrows. He suffered pain of every sort, spiritual anguish, physical hurt and sickness, all for the very ones who were casting Him aside. 

He knew grief as none other, for He was to take upon Himself the heartache of the world. Every bit of grief whether in the flesh or of the soul that man has felt, He has already experienced by becoming a man and taking our place.

The God, who became a man that He might become one with us is neglected. people turn away from Him, choosing to go their own way. They despise Him by turning their faces from Him. They will not listen nor receive His Word of solace and joy. 

They place absolutely no value on Him and the salvation that He has prepared for all who will respond to Him. The attitudes and actions of mankind fit exactly into the words of the prophet and the starry heavens above. Isa. 53:3.

    CENTAURUS. Continued. 
Its brightest star is named Cheiron which is taken from a Hebrew root meaning, - The pierced. The prophetic utterance of the Psalm relates to the piercing of His hands and His feet. This is the only reference where it is specifically stated that His hands and His feet were pierced. Ps. 22:16 

Such action would leave one utterly helpless. Jesus was not moved to revenge against those who pierced Him, but rather poured out a spirit of grace and supplication upon them. Those who accepted Him as Lord and savior found that abundant mercy that flowed from Him. Zech. 12:10 

Jesus revealed Himself to Thomas by the scars that He bore in His body. It would appear that it was not necessary for Thomas to touch Him to believe for he acknowledged Jesus as Lord and God. John 20:27 


Another star for consideration is PHOLAS - Praying of meditation. 

The importance of prayer is no where any better illustrated than in the life of the Lord Jesus Himself. He was the very Son of God, Nevertheless is was vital that He had a time of prayer and commitment to the will of His Father. 

The pathos, the agony facing Calvary was extremely intense. Far greater than the thought of human, physical suffering was the fact hat He was to bear the guilt of sin for the whole world. The Spiritual pain of the cross far exceeded any physical suffering. 

Jesus submitted Himself to the will of the Father regardless of the extreme sacrifice He was making. The value of prayer is self evident. Mt. 26:37-45 


There is a third star with a name bearing spiritual meaning and that is TOLIMAN. 

The heretofore and the hereafter. Brighter once and to be brighter again. How like the circle of the life of Jesus. 

Coming once into the world as the light of the world only to be extinguished on the cross. Only to break forth into a glorious shining forth which will culminate in the brilliancy of His second coming in this end of the age. 

Again, Jesus prayed. Knowing that His time on earth was coming to a conclusion and in spite of the horror that He faced, beyond that, He looked forward to and anticipated a return of the glory which had been His before His birth. John 17:5 

Looking beyond His death and the manner of His death, He saw the glorious accomplishments that all of His pain and suffering would purchase. He saw the joy and pleasure of the redeemed and in particular the bride that He would purchase with His blood. He saw the achievement of the goals of the Godhead. The ultimate of the eternal plan of God. Heb. 12:22 

He went through the valley of death, enduring its darkness and gloom. He experienced the fear and torment of the lost. Never had any suffered the emotional pangs that Jesus felt. Death could not conquer Him. The grave could not hold Him. He is the resurrection and the life. When death attacked Him, He overcame it. The life that He was, that is eternal life is greater than death. The tomb in which they sealed Him, with its watch, could not keep Him for He is resurrection. No power of darkness or evil can overwhelm Him. John 11:25-26 

Those who believe and receive Him will likewise possess this same power. Though the spirit man may lay down the physical body, because Christ abides within he will never die spiritually.

    CHERION. 
Another star in Centaurus. In Greek mythology noted for healing and prophecy. Fatally wounded by a poison arrow not intended for him. Immortal himself, he chose to die from that wound that another might live. Ps. 11:2 

The arrows of the wicked one were those which struck the Lord Jesus. He bore our sickness and our iniquities. He stepped between he who had the power of sickness and death and took our arrows in His own body. Isa. 53:5 

It is very apparent that in Christ that which was a myth was made to be a truth. Jesus came with healing and forgiveness. The righteous One taking the poison of unrighteousness and nailing it to His tree. Col. 2:14 

As a prophet, He excelled, culminating in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Rev. 1:1 


    ALPHA CENTARUI AND OMEGA CENTAURI. Alpha is the third brightest star in the constellation, while Omega is a cluster of some fifty-thousand stars. It is Jesus who is the Alpha and Omega of heaven and spiritual life. Rev. 1:8 

He is the beginning, the firstborn, the root, the rock and foundation. Without Him there is nothing. With Him, everything is gained. He is the one who meets every need of the body, His church. His intent and purpose is to fill her with the all fullness of Himself. Eph. 1:21 
 

    CENTAURUS is represented by a figure that is half man and half horse. Manifesting the wisdom of man and at the same time demonstrating the power and strength of a horse. Christ Jesus was the epitome of both wisdom and strength. Speaking of a dual nature. Christ was both man and God, a total and complete man with the full nature and character of a man. At the same time the completeness of the Godhead dwelt in Him. Col. 2:9  

We think of the ancients not knowing these things. Yet when we see their application of names and figures to the stars of heaven and the meaning of the names we have to understand that there was more than earthly, carnal wisdom. Christ Jesus who has been the center of controversy and mystery since His incarceration, manifests in His dual nature, perfect man and perfect God. He is God in human form. 1 Tim. 3:16 

Mythology says of the Centaur, was born of the clouds, the Son of God. That he was hated of gods and men and was driven into the mountains and exterminated. Not exact but close enough to make us to understand that the story of the Gospel was told by prophets and sages, by the written word and by the stars above. The world has not been left without a definite witness that the Lord lives and desires to make Himself known to all men. The world is without excuse. No one will be exonerated in that day when He gathers all men before Him. There is more than an ample witness given to all men every where. They are divided into two groups. Those who keep His commandments and those who don't. Some don't hear but recognize that there is a God and consequently keep a standard of righteousness. While there are those who have the law and do not live in righteousness. It is not the hearer but the doer who will be blest. The Lord is mercy personified and will apply this principle to the heathen. Rom. 2:12-16

    THE THIRD DECAN OF VIRGO.  BOOTES. 
Taken from the Hebrew language. Bo - to come. The original creation finds His coming to be a time for great rejoicing. From the heavens above to the trees of the forest, perhaps because of the removal of the curse and a restoration of righteousness. His coming is to be a time of the judgment of sin and sinners, by His righteousness and truth. Ps. 96:11-13 

It is called by the Greeks, the ploughman. However the plow and the man face in opposite directions. 


    ACTURUS is the brightest star in this decan. It is called, the watcher, the guardian. Known as the constellation of the Great Bear. Its name is recorded in as a part of the Creation of the Lord. Job. 9:9 

People look to many supernatural sources for a guide and a protector. There is one who stands supreme above all. To those who really know and acknowledged Him, He is a very present help in a time of need. We are granted the privilege of coming directly to the Throne above all thrones, the Throne of the grace of the Lord. Access is immediate and will not be denied. Heb. 4:16 

The one who watches over us and is our protector is none other than the Angel of the Lord, who is the Lord Jesus. As he did with Israel so He does with His people today. The Angel of the Lord encamps around and about those who fear Him. Providing they love, honor and obey Him, their protection is assured. Ps. 34:7 

Really, wouldn't we rather have the Lord as our protector that any other created being in the created universe? All other creatures have sinned, mankind has sinned and come short of the glory of the Lord. Angels have sinned, fallen and are reserved in chains of darkness. 2 Peter 2:4 

The Lord Jesus is the reliable one and He has promised to be with us always. Mt. 2:20 

Make certain that our protector is the Reliable, unfailing, ever true watcher, The Lord Jesus Christ. There is none greater nor more capable of the watchful care than Jesus. An ancient name applied is the great sheepfold rather than that of the bear. That of course would be much more fitting. The Egyptian name is Smat, the one who rules. Christ Jesus is destined to become the eternal ruler. Of His kingdom there will be no end. He shall reign for ever and ever. Rev. 11:15

Al Natrupos, is the star on the right side of the arm, meaning the rod or the branch. The shepherds crook. All of which identify with the Lord Jesus. He is at the right hand of the throne. He is the rod and the branch of the Lord. He is the shepherd. He is indeed the great shepherd of the sheep. The exceeding great one, no shepherd can attain unto the standard allotted Him. He is the good, the kind, gentle, loving shepherd. Again a rank that none other can achieve. John 10:14 

He will return again in the end of this age as the chief shepherd. The Shepherd of all shepherds. The leader, the head of all who act as shepherds. 1 Pet. 5:4 

The starry heavens contain the message of the Son of God, the Son of Man who was born miraculously of a virgin of Israel. While she is not deity, the Lord chose her to accomplish that which was to bless all peoples of the earth. To bring forth a redeemer, a savior, the Lord Jesus.

    LIBRA - THE SCALES OR BALANCES, JUSTICE.

THE REDEEMERS ATONING WORK. 
The very first emotional impact that we feel when we first hear of Jesus and His atoning work is that of conviction. We become aware of our sin. We feel guilty and condemned; especially so, when we do not realize that sin is common to all, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of the Lord. Rom. 3:23 

The answer of the Lord to such condemnation is the justification which is offered to those who will confess their sin to Him. We are then justified, made to be just, exactly as if we had never sinned. It is a gratuitous gift from the Lord. It cannot be merited nor purchased. It is His gift to the repentant sinner. Redemption is found in one person alone and that person is the Lord Jesus Christ. There is positively no other way of receiving life eternal but through Jesus. Rom. 3:24 

There is but one offering for the atonement of the sins of mankind. God has prepared it and presented it to the whosoever will. Its force and power is in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus. No sacrifice before nor since will accomplish the forgiveness of sins, only by the blood of Christ can anyone be saved. 

From Adam to the last man there is but one way, and that is Jesus. The offering of His own Son beautifully illustrates the love of God and His concern that mankind might be justified. The sins of those under the past religious order could not be forgiven, only by the blood of Christ were the old testament saints justified. Rom. 3:25. 

Jesus alone entered into the holy presence of His Father in the heavenly by His own blood. Without His very own blood He would have been barred from the presence of His Father. Heb. 9:12 

If it were necessary that He enter with the blood of His sacrifice, how much more so is it necessary for us.


    SEVERAL NAMES ARE APPLIED TO HIS SIGN. 
    THE ANCIENTS  - Called it the altar. The altar of the Lord is an exclusive altar. The priests who ministered at the altar of the tabernacle and the temple have no right to partake of this altar, except they have repented. Surely, every time we participate in the "Lords supper" we have 
participated of that altar. It is a very special altar. Heb. 13:10

    THE HEBREWS - Ascribed the last letter of their alphabet, T or Tau to this sign. In nearly all ancient alphabets this was written in the form of a cross. It signified, the end, the boundary, the limit the completion. Jesus said, "It is finished". John 19:30 

What a final sound there is to those words, and it was so, Calvary brought a full and complete release from sin for all who will accept its sacrifice. The perfect offering had been made. A fountain of redeeming blood had been opened in the house of David. The sin of every man, past, present and future was heaped upon Jesus. But, we are not released from our sin until we confess our sin. Then He, is faithful and just to forgive us from all our sin. 1 John 1:9

    HEBREW. Mozanaim - The scale, weighing. 
The weights and measures of the Lord are just and right. The Lord weighs with an honest scale. weights and measures of all of the Lords creation are known by Him. Who but the Lord can measure them? Isa. 40:12 

The Lord uses a right and just scale in measuring even men. The character and spiritual content of Belshazzer of old was weighed by the Lord and found to be greatly lacking. Dan. 5:27 

The Lord weighs the actions of men. 1 Sam. 2:3 

Job in his trials sought to be weighed by scales of honest weight, that his integrity might be known. Job 31:6 

Another item which He weighs and is of vital importance is the spirits of men. There is nothing in the inner part of man, the secret part, but what the Lord knows it, considers it and weighs it. He is deeply aware of all that takes place in the very depths of the spirit nature of man. Prov. 16:2


    ARABIC - Al Zubena. 
Purchase, redemption, gain. The redeemed have been bought by the sacrifice of Christ on the tree. We are exhorted therefore to glorify the Lord in our body and spirit. A full price has been paid, once and for all of mankind, but man must acknowledge and accept the gift in order for it to become effective in his life. 1 Cor. 6:20 

In particular, He has purchased a church, a bride for Himself. She is the object of His love. The ultimate of His purpose in enacting the work of redemption by His blood, and His blood alone. Acts 20:28 As a part, a member of His bride, the one hundred forty-four thousand are a very special group which are in close relationship to Him. Rev.14:3-4 

"For they are spiritually undefiled, pure as virgins". NLT. They are virgins and women for the Greek word parthenos [virgin] is used here and can signify nothing but women. It is the same word used for the virgin Mary. Mt. 1:23

    COPTIC - Lambadia. 
Station or house of propitiation. Jesus is both that house or place of salvation and at the same time the very sacrifice which accomplishes propitiation. Propitiation simply means atonement or a sacrifice made to achieve forgiveness from sin. This is an act of love, on both the part of the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. In love He sent His Son. In love the Son committed to His Fathers will and manifest His great love by giving Himself. 1 John 4:10 

In His foreknowledge He knew that not all would accept His offering of Himself, nevertheless He died for the sins of the entire world, and for all mankind. He paid the price of forgiveness for every person and every sin ever committed by them. None are excluded. 1 John 2:2 

For all the sacrifices made under the Law were ineffective and could never bring about a pardon. It took the spilling of the blood of Jesus to cleanse us and them from sin. There is absolutely no other sacrifice that can avail. The blood of Christ cleanses both us and those who were under the Law. It reaches back and forward at one and the same time. The dead, who followed the Law were forgiven because of their faith in the sacrifices made. The living are forgiven because they believe in and trust in the blood of Christ as their atonement. Rom. 3:25

    STAR NAMES OF SIGNIFICANCE IN LIBRA. 
The two brightest stars in this constellation.

    ZUBAN AL GENUBI. 
The price deficient. The insufficiency of the Law. Faith in the atonement of Christ meets and satisfies the demands of a just God. It is an absolute impossibility for any to be justified by the works of the Law. In the first place, because no one, with the exception of Christ, ever fully kept the Law. The Law makes sin to be sinful and brings condemnation. Rom. 3:20 

The stringency of the Law places all under the curse of the Law. "It is written, cursed is everyone that continuity not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them". Those who insist on a reestablished Law do not understand the scriptures. Gal. 3:10

Faith justifies the believer, where the Law could not. Why would anyone ever want to embrace that which lacks the ability to completely justify the individual before the Lord? Acts 13:39 

The promise of inheritance, through faith, delivered to Abraham was not through the Law. It preceded the Law and succeeds the Law. The righteousness of the Lord is not imputed by the works of the Law but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 4:13 

For those who insist on living the Law, Christ has ceased to be effective in their lives. They are no longer under grace but are now separated, fallen from grace. Gal. 5:4 

The Law is works, without faith. Salvation, through Christ is by faith in His atonement on Calvary and not by works. James 2:20


    ZUBEN AL SHEMALI. 
The price which covers. The Law could not accomplish the Divine purpose of the Lord because of its weakest link, MAN. The Law established a code of righteousness, but a standard that man was unable to accomplish. Rom. 8:3 

Therefore it had to be annulled because of the weakness of those who tried to follow its precepts. The Law was made to be unprofitable and unworkable. Therefore we are presented with a better hope. No longer that which depends on the natural senses to accomplish but now that which is wrought in the inner, the spiritual man. A work of the Spirit of the Lord and not the works and understanding of man. The Law could bring no one to perfection. The grace and power of Christ, can and will present us perfect before the Lord. Heb. 7:18-19


    AL - GUBI. 
Heaped up high. How can we even begin to measure the sin of the world over the ages of time? However great their measure, they were all heaped upon the Lord Jesus. He is the sin bearer. He paid the penalty for all men of all times. He is the only hope of salvation. Isa. 53:6

    ZUBEN AKRABI. 
The price of the conflict. Jesus purchased the salvation of the whosoever will by the shedding of His own blood. Inasmuch as our blood comes from our fathers. The blood of Christ was the very blood of His Father. Priceless, holy, sinless and pure. Never contaminated by sin or disease. The only blood that offers any hope to mankind of eternal life. So great is His love that He gave the most priceless commodity of time and eternity, of this world and the one to come. Never, for anything has such a precious price been paid for anything. You are priceless to Him. 1 Peter 1:18-20

    THE DECANS OF LIBRA.

    CRUX. Hebrew. Cut off. 
Words which belong to the Messiah. It is He who is the Lamb of God. He was cut off in the prime of life, that He might become the Savior of the world. The message of salvation by the blood of the slain Lamb is amply portrayed in the heavens. Dan. 9:26 

The hieroglyphic name means; pouring water. It too prophetically depicts for us the pain and anguish of His sufferings. When the Psalmist said, "I am poured out like water". [Ps. 22:14] He was signifying the agony of Gethsemane. For He said, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the
point of death". Mt. 26:38 

Who can understand the depths of this hour of full commitment to the death of the cross. For all the pain and suffering that is in the world, and the heart breaking experiences that all will at sometime in their life encountering. No one, absolutely no one, has ever nor ever will be placed in such a moment where they endure this kind of extreme distress. 

It is a heart wrenching feeling to even try to understand His great heartache and grief as He who knew no sin was about to become sin for us. No wonder the burden that was upon Him was so excruciating that He sweat drops of blood under the heavy pressure of that hour. Luke 22:44


    THE SOUTHERN CROSS IS FOUND HERE. 
Four bright stars in the form of a cross. They are the most conspicuous group in the southern sky. The crucifixion of the Christ of God was not a happening that was not observed and well publicized, for it was not done in secret or in a corner. Acts 26:26 

The Christ of the cross is the very expression of the Lord, of His great and marvelous love for humanity. His shed blood, is our atonement and is the perfect sacrifice that brings salvation to all who will accept it.


    GAMMA. 
The top star is a red star. How wonderfully and beautifully the Lord in His creation of the starry heavens inserts a situation like this. A red star, indicative of that precious blood that was shed on the cross for us. 

There has never been a greater personage than Christ who gave his all for the people. He is the only begotten Son of God. The faithful and true witness. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. He is the first to have been raised from the dead in a resurrected and eternal body. He is the King of kings. He is the Lord of lords. He is the leader of the rulers of this earth. God from eternity, yet humble enough to become a man. Identifying Himself with the likes of sinful man, yet absolutely sinless. 

The very epitome of Love. A love that is love as only God can love. True love, love everlasting. Love that cannot be altered. Love that never fails. Because there could be but one sacrifice for the redemption of fallen man, He became that offering. He shed His life's blood as the true offering for the pardon of mankind. We may be washed form all impurities in the blood of the Son of God. Rev. 1:5 

Once washed we stand pure and clean in His sight. Acceptable to take our place and be domiciled in the eternal heaven of the Lord. His blood makes us to be as eternal as the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself.

    THE SECOND DECAN IN LIBRA.  
LUPUS. 
A sacrifice, slain. Representing Christ Jesus, the one and only sacrifice for all time and for all men. Unfortunately, not all will respond to His call and sacrifice, therefore not all will be saved. He is coming again with the ultimate of salvation, the redemption of our bodies, the first resurrection from the grave. Heb. 9:28

  
    VARIOUS NAMES GIVEN.
    THERA. 
Greek, an animal, a beast. How fitting for Jesus who is seen in the scriptures as the Lamb of God. The true sacrifice. It was John who introduced Him to the people of that day as the Lamb of God, not once but twice. In John 1:29 and then repeated the same statement the next day.        
           
He is the Passover Lamb, gentle, loving, willing to give all. In His future appearances in the end of the age He will be seen as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Strong, even ferocious, powerful and victorious. Having an ability to do what none other could do. Rev. 5:5


    VICTIMA or the victim in Latin. 
The innocent, the pure, the holy one, the just, the eternally righteous. Guiltless and without fault or sin of any sort. A man who would seem the least likely to be victimized and crucified. Yet, He is the only one who could possibly become the proper sacrifice and the one who could atone for the sin of the world. Isa. 53:6


    ZABAH, or the slain in Hebrew. 
In the mind and resolve of the Lord, from eternity past it was determined that Jesus would be born of a virgin for the explicit intent of the salvation of mankind, by His shed blood. In the amazing mind and foreknowledge of the Lord, from the creation of the world, Christ Jesus was slain. Eons before the fulfillment, it was already accomplished in the determinate will of the Almighty. From eternity it was an accomplished fact. 1 Pet. 1:20


    SURD, a lamb, in the Zodiac of Denderah. 
The message of a lamb as a substitute for man is predominate in the sacrifices of the Law. The message is also conveyed to those outside of the Law by the message of the starry heavens. The Lord has not left the world without a witness of His redemption by the blood of a lamb. The center piece of heaven is the Lamb who is situated in the very heart, the center of the throne of God and that with the marks of His death and His blood prominently displayed. Rev. 5:6 

The song of the redeemed is about the Lamb who was slain. They account Him to be worthy above all others. Rev. 5:12 

He is the eternal shepherd and will lead His sheep to a constant supply of the living waters, the sweet flow of the Spirit of the Lord. Rev. 7:17 

They are a victorious, triumphant, people for they have been made to overcome by the blood of the Lamb. Rev. 12:11 

In war, Armageddon and Gog and Magog He will greatly triumph over His enemies. Rev. 17:14 

Gloriously, He will become a Bridegroom and His Bride will have made herself ready. That time of preparation for that marvelous event is now. We are to live in and be clothed with the Word of the Lord. The time is at hand, we must get ready for that tremendous event. Rev. 19:7

    LUPUS. Continued.
    The COPTIC language. The Egyptians presented Lupus as a young man, stripped of his clothing and unresisting, with his finger in his mouth. The scripture presents Him as being silent and unresisting, with the Word of the Lord in His mouth. Isa. 53:7 

His silence must have angered those who were His false accusers. People with their kind of nature, want a response so that they can provoke even to a greater measure. Mt. 27:12


        HORUS was the name given by them to this person. Its meaning is the one to come, the son of light and the slayer of the serpent, the recovererer of the domain. Most assuredly, the works ascribed to this mystical person are most consistent with the Lord Jesus. His first coming was greatly anticipated by Israel of old. Now it is the moment of His appearing which is the great expectation of His people, the church. We look forward to His glorious appearing. Titus 2:13 

We are well aware of the tribute ascribed to Him as the Light of the world. There is only one true light, and that is the light which comes from Him. John 8:12 

His death, burial and resurrection was another step in the ultimate death of that old serpent, satan, the devil. The spiral of the devil's life and works is always downward. The birth of the manchild and his immediate transportation into heaven [Rev. 12:6] causes war in heaven. Rev. 12:7-8 

The devil is overcome and cast out of heaven at the beginning of the great tribulation period. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth for the devil has come down to you having great wrath for he knows he has but a short time. Rev. 12:12 

At the close of the tribulation he is captured and incarcerated for one thousand years. No devil, consequently no sinners nor sin in the Millennial age. Rev. 20:2

However, he will be loosed for a very brief period of time after the thousand years. His intent is to destroy the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ. This is the battle of Gog and Magog [Rev. 20:8]. 

He is quickly and easily defeated and once again taken captive. He will be imprisoned in the lake of fire throughout eternity. No escape. No deliverance. Rev. 20:10 

Subsequent to these events and many, many others that make up the tribulation period, and His Millennial reign, the Lord Jesus will establish a New Heavens and a New Earth. The first heaven and the first earth will have been eliminated. Rev. 21:1 

With it, all the memories and the thoughts of life on the earth will be removed completely. Eccl. 1:11 

When the Lord does a "new thing" it is always so wonderful that the former is forgotten because of the beauty and the glory of the new. The former things will no longer exist, not even in our memories. The majestic glory of the kingdom of the Lord will be so tremendous that there will be no time or thought of that which is past. 

Surely the Lord has spoken and speaks daily through that which He has created and that creation which surrounds us. The Lord has never left this world and its inhabitants without a witness and testimony that He IS, the eternal, always present one. Offering life eternal and establishing a way whereby we may know and comprehend Him.





SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM. 19. 22.

    THE LORD WHO CREATED THE STARS ALSO NAMED THEM. Not only does He know the number of them but He knows the weight andcomposition of each and every one of them. It was the Lord who created them and also named them. Ps. 147:4 Also Isa. 40:26d 

The Lord alone has created them, named them and maintains their order in the heavens. The scriptures show us that Jesus was before creation, was involved in creation, and is the force that maintains the order of the universe. Col. 1:16-17 

Since it was the Lord who brought them into being and named them we have a right to study their names and see that before the written word they were used to proclaim the plan of the Lord. Perhaps from Adam to Abraham the names were not corrupted and applied to heathen gods. Nevertheless there is yet, truth to be found in the meaning of their names.


    CONTINUING WITH LUPUS. 
    IN AN EGYPTIAN HYMN HE WAS CLAIMED TO BE THE SON OF THE SUN. 
This is an amazing statement in light of the fact that the LORD GOD declares Himself to be a SUN AND A SHIELD. Ps. 84:11 

That in no way makes Him to be our sun. However it does proclaim that He is the greatest light to be found anywhere in the universe. When all the created lights have been extinguished, He will continue to be light and a sun, or source of all light, forever. Isa. 60:19-20 

Adding to that, the prophet Malachai called Jesus, the SUN of righteousness. Mal. 4:2 

Then in the New Jerusalem the glory of the Lord and of the Lamb will be the only light needed. Rev. 21:23

It is also said that he was the mighty, the great avenger, and the observer of justice. Paul speaks of the "exceeding greatness of His power" and the "working of His mighty power". A manifestation of the greatness of the might and power which was resident in Him. The uttermost power of the Lord was made known through Him. Eph. 1:19 

Jesus is indeed, the great avenger. At the time of His second coming He comes with a fiery vengeance against those who have rejected the Lord. He will justly avenge the sacrifice that was so necessary because of the sin of mankind. His judgment is righteous and just. Those judged at this time will receive a punishment that is deserving, all because of their rejection of His sacrifice.
2 Thess. 1:8 

Not only does the Lord Jesus observe justice but He is very justice itself. The atmosphere of the throne of the Lord is that of justice and righteous judgment. Ps. 9:7-8 

The throne of the Lord is established with judgment and justice. There absolutely cannot be a misjudgment or mistake made in judging here at this judgment bar of the Lord. Isa. 9:7

That which is mystical and fanciful in the beliefs of the peoples of the earth is made to be a reality in the Lord Jesus. While the world has attempted to corrupt the truth of the Lord, they have utterly failed. Truth is far more powerful than any falsehood concocted and perpetrated by the powers of evil and darkness. Truth will prevail.




     
SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19.  23

    LUPUS.
    To the Egyptians he was the beloved son of Osiris and the virgin. Osiris was the god of the dead. He was represented by two hieroglyphics. A throne and an eye. How very interesting. While it may have been corrupted and misapplied to gods of their own making, it cannot be said that there was not an understanding of the plans of the Lord for the salvation of men. It was Christ Jesus who was born of the true God, Jehovah and the virgin Mary. Mt. 1:20-22 

Osiris was said to have been full of eyes. The multiplicity of eyes seen in the scriptures represent the ability of the Lord to see all things, everywhere at one and the same time. The four spiritual representatives who are constantly before the throne of the Lord are full of eyes. The capability of the Lord to behold and comprehend the works of men in the dispensations of these four men who stand before Him. They are men through whom the eyes, the vision of the Lord was accomplished. They understood the past, knew the present and saw into the future. Rev. 4:6 

There is no place of escape from the eyes of the Lord. He is all seeing. Prov. 15:3 

The Holy Spirit is represented by the eyes of the Lord. He is the preserver of the knowledge of the Lord in the lives of the redeemed. Prov. 22:12 

Whether it be the plumbline, the true gauge of righteousness, with it seven eyes (Full compliment of sight, natural and spiritual). Zech. 4:10 

Or the stone of Zech. 3:9 

Or the Lamb of Revelation, they all show the fullness of the Holy Spirit that is resident in the Lord Jesus and produced the anointing in His life. Each one is symbolic of the Son of God, The Lord Jesus. Rev. 8:2 

Not to be missed is the fact that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, for good and for their benefit. Ps. 34:15


    THEY LIKEWISE RECOGNIZE HIM AS THE ONE WHO DOES GOOD.
Most certainly an attribute of the Lord. He knows how to give the perfect and beneficial gift to His people. Mt. 7:11 

We often times ask for things which are not to our advantage and feel that the Lord has not heard us. He heard, but said NO! Surely He has the right to refuse something that will become a problem in our lives. Every gift which is good and perfect comes from Him. James 1:17


    HE IS ALSO THE LORD OF LORDS AND THE KING OF THE GODS. 
To them he is all supreme. So it is in fact and truth with the true GOD. Even the heathen king recognized that the God of Daniel was over all. Not only the ruler over men but over every being which is exalted as a deity. Dan. 2:47 

It is much better to know Him who is the God of gods and worship Him than one who is far inferior. Ps. 136:2 

Jesus is yet to be revealed to this world and all who have lived on this earth as well as all heavenly beings, including the devil himself, as the KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS. Rev. 19:16 

He is above all.

    LUPUS. 
To the Greeks, he was, HARPOCRATES. Justice, or the victim of justice, the vindication of the majesty of the Law. What a beautiful picture of who and what the Lord Jesus was to justice. He is the reality, very justice itself. Justice is proclaimed to be the habitation of the throne. Ps. 9:14 

He is the occupant of the throne. The just one, the holy one, the very source and fountainhead of justice was crucified, as the victim of justice. James 5:6 

The price required to justify the guilty could only be paid by one person, the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. He met the Divine specifications required by the Law. Only Jesus was capable of meeting its high and holy demands. 

That makes Him to be unique and one of a kind for all time and eternity. No one else was capable of making such a supreme sacrifice. He was the perfect Lamb to be offered as a perfect sacrifice for the fulfillment of a perfect Law. Rom. 5:18-20 


    To the ROMANS, he was the god of silence, quiet, submission and acquiescence. The scriptures portray Jesus in this very manner. He was oppressed, literally tyrannized and harassed beyond measure. The mental and emotional, even the spiritual feelings would be far more painful than the physical. 

He came to His own, and it was His very own who afflicted Him. In all this, He was silent, in flogging or standing before the seat of judgment He did not retaliate, or answer back. He submitted to all the punishment that they heaped upon Him, in silence. No complaint issued from His mouth. He opened not His mouth. Isa. 53:7 


    In some of the starry pictures LUPUS is shown holding the cornucopia, or horn of plenty in his hands. The Lord Himself is a cheerful giver and will bless those who give in like manner. He reveals Himself to those who follow Him as the one who abounds in grace and willingly shares it with His people. There is no limit to the greatness and abundance of His grace toward us. The words of Paul are beautiful when he stated that the Lord is able to manifest in our lives all sufficiency in all things". 2 Cor. 9:8 

That most assuredly covers the spiritual element of our lives as well as the physical. There is far too much emphasis on seeking after the natural things of this world in some circles of Christianity. Caring and seeking after the proper spiritual sufficiency will dampen the desire for things natural or worldly and will produce far greater joy and happiness in our lives. The promise of the Word is that our "NEEDS" will be met. Phil. 4:19 

What more could we possibly want than to have our daily needs sufficiently met? Jesus warned of the "deceitfulness of riches". He said that they choke out the Word and the individual trusting in them become unfruitful.  Mark 4:19 

His meaning of course, was that Spiritually they would become unfruitful. Jesus mentioned three things that choke out and kill the fruitfulness of Spirituality. The cares of this life, often result in a desire for riches and riches bring a desire for the pleasures, the good life of this world. Luke 8:14 

This is a, "Thus sayeth the Lord" prophecy it came directly from Him. It could be no more authentic. It is that more sure Word of prophecy. 





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM. 19  25

    CROSSES. 
There are some gods depicted who have this sign of the crucified one. The Egyptians had three main gods, each holding a cross of the sacred letter T [Tau, last letter of the Hebrew alphabet]. One of whom extends his cross. The son, the deliverer, the conqueror. The physical cross is irrelevant. The person who is hanging on the cross makes the cross to be relevant. The shed blood of the crucified one is mans only hope of salvation. Peace with God, peace of heart and reconciliation are available to all who will receive the person of the cross. Col. 1:22 

The Brahmans also have a triad. The second, is the man-god, Krishna. He is holding a cross in his right hand. He is the god of deliverance from harm and serpents. An impersonation of Christ of which there are many in this world. Even so, evidence of the work and accomplishment of the Christ of the cross. Imitations are only made of things of great value. There was to be constant conflict between the seed of the woman, Christ, and the serpent, old satan himself. Gen. 3:15 

The cross of Christ was the beginning of the end for satan. His ultimate defeat is determined. He is soon to be bound a thousand years. Cast, bound with a great and unbreakable chain, into the bottomless pit which is then, locked and sealed. At the conclusion of the thousand years he is loosed for a very brief period of time. Rev. 20:2-3 

The time of his release is at the moment of the second resurrection, the resurrection of the ungodly dead. They are identified as, "the rest of the dead". Rev. 20:5 

At the conclusion of the thousand years he is to be loosed for a brief period of time. His purpose being that of deceiving the peoples who have been resurrected in the second resurrection. They are found in the four quarters of the earth, resurrected of course in the area in which they died and were buried. These are not people who have lived as sinners during the millennial reign of Christ. There is no sin or sinners in that thousand year period. They are all destroyed at the battle of Armageddon, which is the second coming of Christ. Rev. 16:14-16 

This battle ushers in the thousand years of rest and peace. It is impossible for any sinner to live past the fire of the coming of Christ and find their way into that age of righteousness. 2 Thess. 1:8 

The battle of Gog and Magog. Rev. 20:7-8 takes place at the close of the thousand years. 

Satan will deceive them once again and lead them to attack the camp of the saints or the New Jerusalem. They are defeated and burned by the fire of judgment from the Almighty. Rev. 20:9 

Satan is then taken captive once more and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. There he is to spend eternity in association with the false christ, who is the antichrist and the false prophet. Their torment will never cease. Their punishment will be according to the evil which they have committed. Rev. 20:10 

The Lord will have completed His aim of full and absolute defeat and eradication of the source of all evil, that is the devil. Calvary was the beginning of the end for that created being whose in his inception was a beautiful creature and possessed a place of authority in the heavens, until pride was found in him.

    CORONA BOREALIS OR THE NORTHERN CROWN. 
A group of from twenty-one to thirty visible stars. Seven are in a curve like a crown, hence its name. There is none more fitting to be crowned than the Lord Jesus. He was willing to lower Himself and become a human being. with one goal in mind and that was Calvary. His subsequent death, burial and resurrection. 

But, now He is crowned with the crown of glory of the Lord, having experienced death for every man. We see Him in the eventual and exalted position as having many crowns. Every and all crowns befitting to His eternal status will be bestowed upon Him. He is more than worth of them all. He first of all wore a crown of thorns for us. Mt. 27:29 

He will most certainly be crowned with the incorruptible and unfailing crown. 1 Cor. 9:25

If we may receive a crown of joy, how much greater will His joy be. Phil. 4:1

Where there is joy, there is also great rejoicing, the two go together. 1 Thess. 2:19 

His crown is that of the purest heavenly gold, the splendor, and eternal righteousness of the living God. Rev. 14:14 

We would certainly anticipate that He would be crowned with the crown of life for He is very life itself, ever living and dispensing that eternal life to all who will come to Him. James 1:12 

Not the least of the crowns which He will wear is the crown of a conqueror. He never has, nor will He ever know defeat. He is the might conquering one. Rev. 6:2 

He is most worthy to be crowned with a multiplicity of crowns.


    OVER JERUSALEM. 
It is said to be situated over Jerusalem once every revolution of the earth. It is obvious that the Lord is concerned over Jerusalem. We are challenged to differentiate between natural Jerusalem or Spiritual Jerusalem, which is the Spiritual mother of us all. Gal. 4:26 

The difference between the two is like night and day. One is in darkness and bondage, while the other walks in the glorious light of the Lord. Which one will inherit the promises? According to the Prophet Isaiah Jerusalem is to be a royal crown, a crown of splendor or glory. That makes her a queen, in the hand of the Lord. Isa. 62:3 

This gorgeous woman is seen again in Revelation twelve. She is the perfect woman and is perfected for she is the Lambs wife. How marvelously she is arrayed. The full complement of life giving bodies are upon her. She is clothed with the greater light, the sun. It is wrapped around her and fully envelopes her. She is a person clothed and filled with the surpassing light of the Lord. The sun is a type of the Father. The Lord God is a sun and a shield. Ps. 84:11 

She stands on a sure foundation, the blood of the Christ, the moon which shall be turned into blood before the coming of the Lord. Acts 2:20 

She is crowned, with the most glorious of all crowns. Twelve stars, a star is a sun. Imagine how brilliantly she shines, like a torch or a lighthouse the light of the glory of the Lord beams forth from her. The twelve stars signify the Spirit led leadership of the Holy Spirit. The guidance of the true Bride of Christ will be based on the revelation of the WORD through the mind and voice of the Holy Spirit. The Lord will yet have a perfect church for His Bride.





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19  27

    SCORPIO. THE SIGN OF THE SCORPION. 
This constellation has been called the accursed constellation, the false sign. In the death and burial of the Lord Jesus, satan, the scorpion released all the powers of darkness relegated to him in an attempt to thwart the redemption of men. It was necessary in the economy of the Lord that someone bear the curse of the Law for all mankind. The sting of the scorpion, the poison of sin and iniquity was felt, to the fullness, by the man of Calvary. Gal. 3:13


    OTHER NAMES USED IN REFERENCE TO THIS CONFIGURATION.

    ISIDIS [Coptic]. 
The attack of the enemy. The enemy, in this case is a strange one. Springing forth from a source which is almost unbelievable, the very throne presence of the Lord. The Psalmist speaks prophetically and states that it was, "a man mine equal, my guide, mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together and walked unto the house of God in company". Ps. 55:12-13 

The Scriptures constantly speak of satan as being in a high and exalted position, in the very throne presence of the Lord. As it was then, so it shall be. The antichrist will come out of the leadership of the last day church. Nothing hurts more than a friend, an associate turning against one.


    AL AKRAB [Arab]. 
Scorpion, also conflict, war. Both, satan and the antichrist have the same attitudes and purpose. They come with deception. With words as smooth as butter but hearts filled with the intent of waging war. Ps. 55:20-21 

After all the ages of time, heaven is to be cleansed by a war. This battle is caused by the birth of the manchild. That should give us an inkling of how important his birth will be of the determination of the Lord to rid himself of satan. What a stench in the nostrils of the Lord satan must be as he accuses the saints day and night, 24/7, before the throne of the Almighty. Rev. 12:10 

One thing, if he is that busy with his accusations, he does not have time to attack the people of the Lord. Those satanic spirits we face are fallen angels, imps of Lucifer and not the devil himself. There will be war in heaven. Satan will lose and be cast down, the NIV is good, hurled down. He is coming down fast and hard. He is defeated by Michael [Who is like God?] The Archangel, who is first in the angelic order and is Christ, and the angels of the Lord, under His leadership. 

The devil really does not have even the iota of a chance of winning in this war. When he descends to the earth there is issued a special warning to the inhabitants of the earth, a red alert from heaven itself. He comes down with great anger, an anger such as none of us have ever experienced. So great and intense that the time of his reign on the earth for three and one half years is known as the great tribulation period. Even those who are with him and for him will know the fullness of his wrath. Rev. 12:12. 

Never, ever has there been such a display of hatred and wrath.   





      SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM 19  28

    SCORPIO. Continued.
    AL ALTERAH. Another Arab name attributed to it meaning; "the wounding of the coming one". Certainly a foreshadowing of the Christ of God. It was Jesus who was wounded in bearing out iniquities. 

The word "wounded" in the Hebrew also bears the connotation of making profane a person, place or thing. The very fact that Jesus bore the sin of the whole of mankind would make Him to be the most profane of all. Not because of His own works of doings but because of the wickedness of all who are born in sin. 

He was beaten beyond recognition because of our iniquities. He took the blame and was accused of gross wrong doing, all for us. That the peace of the Lord might reign in our hearts. 

His full complement of stripes, forty in number, bring deliverance and healing to those who call upon His name. There is no sickness, new or old that is beyond the scope of His healing virtue. He took the complete measure of punishment for us. Praise be to His name. Isa. 53:5


    ANTARES. [Arabic] The brightest star. 
Wounds in His hands that will ever be in evidence throughout eternity. The Lamb stands in the midst of the throne of the Lord, still bearing the signs of having been slain. Rev. 5:6

He had been wounded in the house of His friends. He came to minister to and according to the promises made to His own people, but they rejected Him. John 1:11 

There is no hurt deeper than that of having been rejected by your very own. He had come to bless and save them, to do good unto them. Zech. 13:6  


    LEZUTH. [Hebrew] Perverseness. 
Jesus was dealt with in a most perverse manner. Every evil thought and work was committed against Him. They accused Him of being devil possessed. John 7:20 

No greater insult could be heaped upon Him. Once again, is the writer of the Psalms who prophetically gives us an insight to the emotional feelings of the Lord Jesus is all these things which He suffered. He said that all their animosity was without a cause and he was right. Take particular notice of His source of strength and comfort. "I will meditate on thy precepts". There is no greater source of help and comfort than the Word of the Lord. Ps. 119:78 

This is a star with the brilliance of the first magnitude. How like the Lord Jesus who brilliancy is greater than that of the noon day sun. Paul met Him in the fullness of His splendor and glory. In a light that was brighter, far greater than the sun shining in the fullness of its strength. 
Acts 22:6 

The glories of heaven far exceed the imagination of the most imaginative. It is a land of the brilliantly shining God of light. A light the likes of which we have never seen with our natural eyes. Jesus is seen as possessing a countenance that shines like the sun. Rev. 1:16 

He is seen again, in a cloud, crowned with a rainbow and having feet like pillars of fire. How exciting. Rev. 10:1 

The glory which emanates from Him will lighten the whole of the New Jerusalem. The greatest and largest city ever. Rev. 21:23

THE DECANS OF SCORPIO.
SERPENS - The Serpent. A name that aptly fits the devil, satan.

IN HEBREW, NAMED KELALAH. The accused one. 
The curse of the Lord was pronounced on him because of his deception of Eve. The curse was above all curses that might be pronounced by the Lord. It was a curse constituting bitterness. It was a curse of separation, of warfare, of pain and sorrow. Gen. 3:14-15


AL HAY, in Arabic. The reptile. 
Noted to be a fleeing serpent, and well he might flee. He will face the sword of the Lord, which is described by Isaiah as being, grievous and cruel, great and strong, mighty and hard. The sword will also slay the dragon which is in the sea. Isa. 27:1 

The sword is identified as the Word of the Lord proceeding from the mouth of the Lord Jesus. Rev. 9:15 

The antichrist in particular, will be slaughtered by the sword of His mouth and by the brightness of His coming. 2 Thes. 2:8


OPHIUCHUS, the second decon. 
The name means, the serpent holder. Pictured as being a mighty man wrestling with a serpent. The serpent will be bound with a great chain, a chain such as only the Lord can make. A chain of blackness and darkness. 2 Peter 2:4 

A darkness such as the Lord sent on Egypt. A darkness so sever that it was felt. Oppressive and creating utmost fear, so intense that it was like being buried alive. For the three days of darkness, no Egyptian moved. Ex. 10:21 

The dragon, called the serpent and the old devil is bound for one thousand years. He is to be thrown into and shut up in the bottomless pit. The door is then sealed. There is no possibility of escape for him. At the conclusion of the Millennial reign of Christ he is loosed briefly. At which time he will go out to once again deceive the nations of the ungodly who have come up in the second resurrection. Rev. 20:1-3 

It is also illustrated by some as a man having one foot lifted, which is then stung by the scorpion, while the other foot is crushing the head of the scorpion. The Lord has given power to His church over every force and all the power of the devil. Luke 10:19


THE BRIGHTEST STARS ARE, RAS AL HAGUS, the head of him who holds. 
It is Christ who is the head of the church. Eph. 5:23 

Likewise He is the one who gains the final victory over the serpent. Rev. 19:12-13 

The false prophet and the false christ are designed to be conquered by Christ and cast a live into the lake of fire. Rev. 19:20  


TRIOPHAS, treading under foot. The salt which has lost its flavor is good for nothing but is cast out and trodden under foot. This certainly applies to such as Judas and the antichrist, who though in the inner circle, became turn coats and lost their flavor. Mt. 5:13 


SAIPH, CARNEBAS, bruised. 
While the outcome of the battle has never been in doubt. The process has not been without wounding and bruising. In our journey toward the Eternal City we encounter many scrapes and bruises, but never has there been one like Jesus. His visage and the whole of His body were bruised and battered
more than any other man can ever know.  Isa. 52:14

HERCULES, the third decan. 
According to Egyptian Hieroglyphics, called. "HIM WHO COMETH". There is not much question as to whom this name represents. The Lord Jesus came into the world with the explicit objective of the destruction of sin and the devil. 1 John 3:8 

This sign is depicted as a man kneeling on one knee with his heel lifted up as if wounded. Having a great club in his hand and holding a three headed monster in the other. [The devil, the antichrist and the false prophet.] At the same time his other foot is on the head of the dragon. The devil from the beginning is a defeated foe. 

His destiny was determined from the moment he tried to usurp the authority of the Lord in the past eternity. Hell and the lake of fire were prepared especially for the devil and his angels. Mt. 25:41 

His place of eternal abode is the lake of burning sulfur into which he will be most degradingly thrown. Rev. 20:10  


OTHER NAMES. 
In the Zodiac of Denderah it is known as BAU, "who cometh". In Arabic it is called Al GISCALE, "the strong one". It has been well demonstrated to the world that in the first coming of Jesus, He exhibited the power and authority of the Lord. He possessed the fullness of power of two entirely different spheres, heaven and earth. Mt. 28:18 

He has been exalted to the Throne of power, the source, the very fountainhead of all power. Mark 14:62 

The beauty of all this is that He has relegated that same identical power to those whom He has called. Luke 9:1 

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the means and the avenue whereby that same power is delivered to His church. The body of Christ, the church, must be able to illustrate that power which flows from the Christ of God, to the world. Acts 1:8 


THE BRIGHTEST STAR IS, RAS AL GETHI, the head of him who bruises. 
This immediately takes us back to the original prophecy of conflict between the serpent and the seed of the woman. THE SEED OF THE WOMAN has a double meaning, the second being stronger than the first. 

First, the natural seed and its constant warfare with the serpent. 

Secondly, the conflict from eternity, between lucifer [the snake] and Christ the true seed, the prophetic seed of the woman. Gen. 3:15 

The second star in the constellation is called, THE BRANCH KNEELING. 
Though He was the Son of God, He was not a stranger to prayer. He established a perfect example. If prayer was a necessity in His life, how much more in ours! He is found praying before the dawn of the day. Mark 1:35

He had a habit of seeking out a place of solitude and there He prayed. Luke 5:16 

Certainly the most impressive prayer that He prayed was in the garden of Gethsemane. He gave evidence of the excruciating difficulty that He faced as He would become the collective degeneracy and iniquity of the world. It was His final act of commitment and dedication to the will of the Father. It was an incredible decision and accomplishment, in every way. We will never know the excruciating agony in His inner most being as He sweat drops of blood. Luke 22:44 

All His suffering was for us. That we might be saved.

    SAGITTARIUS. 
Known as the archer, the bowman. The triumph of the redeemer. Here once again is told the story of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, the conquering one. From eternity He was destined to be a victorious warrior in defeating sin and death. Truth, meekness and righteousness are His weapons of warfare. With them He overcame all opposition and is now exalted to the throne of God. Ps. 45:4-5

    THE CENTAUR IS THE SIGN THAT IS USED HERE. 
The centaur is depicted as half man half horse or beast. He is seen holding a bow with an arrow pointed at the heart of the scorpion. CHERON, is the Greek name applied to him. Its meaning is, the Executor, the righteous dealing centaur. Celebrated for his wisdom and accomplishments and wisdom. Also skilled in medicine. In Jesus is found all wisdom and knowledge. 1 Cor. 1:30 

Jesus was to take the place of the sacrificial animals presented before the Lord. 1 Pet. 1:18-19 

He is also the one who will bring about the ultimate destruction of all evil. Rev. 12:10-11 He is our healer. 1 Peter 2:24


    CHUNNAN is its brightest star. 
In Hebrew its meaning is, the gracious one and who could that be but the Lord Jesus, the everliving
source of grace and truth. John 1:14 

In the zodiac of Denderah, he is also known as, PI-MAERE, graciousness. Surely in Jesus we find a kindness and a friendliness that supersedes all others. He is even kind to those who
do not by any means deserve it. Luke 6:35

    ITS DECANS ARE:-

    LYRA. The harp. 
Not only a musical instrument but a source of a sound begetting praise unto the Lord. Ps. 147:7 

The four living creature whose residence is before the throne of the Lord, with their harps, will
lead the hosts of heaven in the singing of a new song. Rev. 5:8  

    VEGA. 
Its brightest star. Meaning, he shall be exalted. The triumphant warrior. How like Christ whom His Father has exalted to His own right hand, on high. Placing Him in absolute command over every authority, all force that is in existence. At the same time giving Him a name like unto no other name, for all of time and eternity. 

How necessary it is that we fully comprehend the meaning of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the name of full and absolute victory over every force of the wicked one. Eph. 1:20-21. 

The word Vega has its roots in the word Victory. Paul, having listed a series of troublesome situations which any and every Christian has, can and will, face came to the conclusion, that in spite of the force and power of these difficulties. In the ultimate we are more than conquerors through the Lord Jesus Christ. It was his strong persuasion, and he had faced many trials, that none of these things could rob us or keep us from the love that is in Christ Jesus. Rom. 8:37-39

    ARA, The second decan of Sagittarius. 
Depicting a raised area, made of earth, wood or stone which is used for sacrificial purposes. Therefore an altar. This altar is covered by fire. Abraham built an altar with the full intent
of sacrificing his son. He was fully persuaded that if his son died in such an act that the Lord would raise him up again. For Isaac was the son given him by the miracle of the promise of the Lord, at an age where child bearing was impossible for Abraham and Sarah. Gen. 17:16 

Abraham's faith is seen in his instructions to his two servants to wait at the foot of the mountain. He and Isaac would go, and make a sacrifice and then, "COME AGAIN TO YOU". Gen. 22:5 

Evidence that he fully intended to obey the Lord in making his son a sacrifice but expected him to be raised from the ashes. However, it was but a test and the Lord, Himself provided a sacrifice,
according to the word of Abraham. Gen. 22:8, 13 

In response to the willingness and faith of Abraham the Lord revealed Himself as JEHOVAH-JIREH, The Lord of provision. Every act of Abraham foretold that in the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. Gen. 22:14 

His experience is rich in type. Portraying the coming sacrifice of the Son of God.
    

    AL MUGAMARA, in the Arabic. 
Meaning, the completing or finishing. Jesus is not only the one who has finished or provided a complete salvation, but He is also the Author, the one who originated it and brought it into being. Heb. 12:2 

He is the very heart, the core of all spiritual activity. He is the only intercessor. Salvation may be found only in Christ Jesus. There is no other way, There is no other savior. Rom. 8:34 

We are invited, even exorted to be fully identified with Him in His death, burial and resurrection. Water baptism is not a ritual, it is far more important. It is a commitment to Christ and a death to the self life, the old character, that person we used to be. Col. 2:12


    IN THE ZODIAC OF DENDERAH it takes on a different form. 
That of a man who sits enthroned wielding a flail. This figure is given the name, "the coming one". Here we find an example of Christ who is the very heart of the throne of heaven. The coming one who is anticipated by all Christians. His coming has two facets. Joy and blessing for those who serve Him. However, for those who will not follow Him, He is coming in great judgment. We are warned that it is needful to maintain our Christian life and walk on a high standard. Heb. 3:11-18 

A vital part of the Second Coming of Christ is that of the punishment which will be meted out at that moment of time. He comes with vengeance against those who do not know the Lord and who do not obey the Word of the Lord Jesus. His coming is not just a casual moment where those who love Him escape the things which are coming on this world in the end of the age. His coming is a great catastrophe for those who have rejected Him or refused to serve Him. 2 Thes. 1:7-8 

He is the King of kings and it shall soon be revealed to this world that He is exactly who He claimed to be. His position of authority is not fanciful, but very real.

    DRACO, The third decan of Sagittarius. 
Meaning, the dragon cast down. This sign is prevalent among the peoples of Europe and Asia. The dragon represents the devil himself. That the devil is a defeated foe there is no doubt. The scriptures give ample proof to this fact. Jesus said, "I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven". Luke 10:18 

His fall and the cause is recorded in Isaiah fourteen. He was created to be a light bearing vessel. He bore the title of, "the son of the morning". The dawn, the first light of the new day. He was, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the highest of the heavenly, created, beings. Isa. 14:12 

His position was and still is immediately before the throne of the Lord. His work is that of accusing the people of God, day and night. When we make accusations and are critical we only assist him. Rev. 12:10 

His destiny is to be cast down a second time, and that permanently. He will once again be cast to the earth and will exploit those who do not serve the Lord, by forcing them to do his will during the tribulation period. Rev. 12:12-13. 

His final place of incarceration is hell itself. Anywhere is hell, if in the company of the devil. He grossly mistreats those who follow him. Rev. 20:10    

    TRODDEN ON, is also a connotation which is applied to Draco. The prophetic utterances of Isaiah proclaim his defeat. Leviathan, the piercing, crocked serpent will be, and presently is, defeated by the sword of the Spirit which is given us to use when in conflict with him. Isa. 27:1 

Note the dragon is in the sea. The sea represents the masses of humanity. How often he stirs up a storm across the nations of the world. The seas are stormy and roaring in these last days. Be sure to use the proper weapons when in conflict with the serpent. Jesus said those who believe, would "Cast out devils in my name". Learn the power of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and use it when in battle. Mark 16:17 

That these heavenly symbols were used and understood by men of faith is evidenced by the words of Job, found in Job. 26:13 

Job gives credit to the Lord for having created and adorned the skies with the beauty of the stars. Likewise in having created this emblem of the fleeing serpent, and showing his ultimate and everlasting defeat. Draco is a northern constellation where the tail of the serpent, spreads out over the territory of a third part of the stars.

Stars, prophetically represent the saints of the Lord. As in Dan. 12:3, also in Rev. 12:4 where it is noted that the serpent had influence over a third of the stars of the heavens, with his tail. This is a pathetic situation pertaining to the last days, where a segment of the church, one-third, will follow the antichrist as he splits off from the true church. The antichrist comes from within the ranks of a church that has arrived at its highest standard ever. Jesus, when choosing his twelve said, I chose you twelve and one is the devil. Examples of this disruption which comes from within are men like Absolom, Judas and others who rebelled against constituted authority. Satan is a rebel and a rebel rouser.

    CAPRICORNUS. The goat of atonement. 
This sign is illustrated by a fallen goat with the tail of a fish. Here, once more we see a sign with a dual nature. The goat is dying but the fish is vigorously alive. Christ is our atonement, the one who died for all. It is He who has become the first fruits of the resurrection. It is He who said, "I am He that liveth and was dead". Rev. 1:18a  

Jesus is the one represented as the LORDS goat, which was to be the sin offering. Lev. 16:9 

The blood of this goat was to be carried within the Vial into the Most Holy Place. Where its blood was sprinkled on the Mercy Seat of the Lord with the finger of the High Priest, seven times. Lev. 16:15 


    THE BLOOD OF CHRIST was carried within the vial, of the Heavenly Tabernacle where it is presented as the true atonement for all, in order to manifest to all that the true sacrifice had been completed. At His crucifixion the veil in the temple was rent in two, exposing the most holy and brought to an end forever the sacrifice of animals as a substitute sacrifice. Mark 15:38 

All the volume of sacrifices made in the fifteen hundred years of the Law could not cleanse from sin. Accumulate them and make them all one, it would still be insufficient. The Old Testament sacrifices were but symbols of the one, true sacrifice that was to be made by the Lord Jesus. Paul spoke of the futility and absolute incapability of animal sacrifice. Heb. 10:4 

The importance of the sacrifice of Christ is shown in the fact of His entrance into heaven, by His own blood. In spite of His status as the Son of God, He could only enter the Most Holy Place of Heaven by His own blood. If it were necessary for Christ to enter by His very own blood, how much more it requires His blood for our admittance. Heb. 9:12


    THE FISH. 
Ever living and coming forth from the offering of the kid. The fish has become the symbol of those who come to Christ. A number of those whom He called to follow Him had been fishermen. Now He was to change their occupation and make them to be fishers of men. A catch of far greater worth. Mt. 4:18 

The Lord showed the prophet Ezekiel a great last day ingathering of the souls of men and women into the kingdom of the Lord. His promise was that there would be a very great multitude of fish. There was to be a great harvest of fish, from En-gedi [Fountain of a kid] to En-eglaim [Fountain of two calves]. which, in Bible language translates into, from Christ to the perfecting of the Church there shall be gathered a great multitude, and a great variety of human kind into the kingdom of the Lord. Eze. 47:10 

The fountain of two calves speaks to us of the double portion or the fullness of the Spirit which will be the portion of the last day church. We stand on the verge of a move of the Spirit such as no other generation of people have ever seen. The Lord will do great, mighty and wonderful things in these last days. The church does not go out defeated. 

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY. CHRIST AROSE FROM THE DEAD AND IS ALIVE FOREVER MORE.

    DECANS OF CAPRICORNUS.

    SAGITTA, THE ARROW. 
The arrows of divine justice and judgment, demanding a sacrifice. The Lord Jesus bore the wrath of His Father against sin. He felt the divine arrows piercing even to His soul. Ps. 38:2 

The immensity of the spiritual and emotional experience that Christ felt in becoming the sin bearer and our substitute is beyond human comprehension. We do not understand fully the relationship between the Father and the Son. Man does not have the depths of love and hate that are found in the Lord. He loves us, with a measure as no other being has ever, nor could ever love. He hates sin with a passion that only the Lord can know. Jesus became the target of His wrath on Calvary. The anger of the Lord was directed toward Jesus in its absolute perfection. An eternal fury that demanded that justice be served. Ps. 38:2-3 

That which is portrayed by "THE PASSION (of CHRIST)", however graphic, does not begin to represent the spiritual battle, nor the agony and sufferings which was involved. It only shows human suffering. There was a far greater battle which took place that day. The "Perfect One" became the target of two converging forces, that of the Lord and that of the powers of darkness. Ps. 64:3 


    The Hebrew word used is SHAMMED, destroying. 
The author of sin and destruction was defeated and destroyed at the cross. The final enactment of that scenario is yet to be seen. There is a last day spiritual Babylon which is seen as a burning mountain [the harlot church] and is to be cast into the sea, [the masses of humanity] literally and spiritually. Rev. 8:8 

The Word of the Lord is directed against the destroying mountain. He will make desolate the desolater. Jer. 51:25 

The Lord has prepared His own Mighty One who has and will yet do battle against the powers of darkness and defeat them. The victory of the Lord is assured. Destruction will be annihilated. Isa. 28:2 

Incidentally there are five stars which are used for this sign. Five is the number of the atonement. 


    AQUILA, is the second decan. 
This is the pierced eagle, wounded and falling. The eagle is used in the scriptures to represent the Spirit of the Lord. He was as an eagle to Jacob, both the individual and the tribe. He watched over them. Lifted and carried them in all of their journeys. Deut. 32:11-12. 

When they left Egypt it was the power of the wings of the great eagle which was their deliverance and consequently their sustenance. Ex. 19:4 

Who but the Lord could effect a mass healing, in a moment of time, as they partook of the Passover lamb, for there was not a feeble one among them. Caused the Egyptians to pay them off for their labors in Egypt with one great bonus. Ps. 105:37 

They had the best caterer in the universe to supply their free food. Ex. 16:35 

For forty years they were absolutely lacking nothing. Not even their clothes wore out. They were living in utopia and did not appreciate it. Neh. 9:21 

It is so hard for man to be content.

    CAPRICORNUS. 
DELPHINUS, the Dolphin, the third decan. Seen as a leaping dolphin, with its head up and full of life and activity. Behind the tail of the Dolphin there is a hazy patch, which is actually a cluster of countless stars.  

    DALAPH, in the Hebrew, the pouring out of water. 
Jesus always took advantage of every situation to present the Gospel. It was on the eighth day of the feast of Tabernacles, a special Sabbath, that Jesus offered living, life giving waters to the people. He stood, and with a loud voice proclaimed that, if any thirsted they could come to him and drink. John 7:37 

A ceremony of the pouring out of waters had been added to the activity of this day. The priest would take water from the pool of Siloam, in a golden vessel, with great pomp and ceremony, carry it through the streets with the goal of mixing it with wine in the Temple then pouring it out on the sacrifice of the altar. Jesus offered them living waters, not the waters of an uncertain ceremony. Jesus would give them a constant flow of living waters gushing forth from the Spirit filled person. Note it was not just a stream, but rivers [plural] of that great and marvelous flow of the Spirit of life. John 7:38 

The feast of Tabernacles remains the one feast that has not yet been fulfilled in the church age. It represents a last day outpouring of the Holy Spirit of the greatest proportions. Jesus said that in the last days, the two thousand years of the Gospel dispensation, He would pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh. Acts 2:17-18 

We have witnessed the tremendous growth of the Spirit filled church throughout the world. The Lord has laid a foundation for the final work of the Spirit which will sweep numberless souls into the kingdom of the Lord. The greatest is just a head.

    DALAPH, Arabic, coming quickly. 
The Lord demonstrated a principle in His Word of visiting with a warning, many time a prophet, before judgment. He will do the same in the end of the age. While there are many conditions in the earth today which are signs of His coming, there are also some which are not yet evident. 

He called them signs and wonders and stated them to be blood, fire and vapor of smoke. Not man made wonders but acts of the Lord meant to be warnings to the world. He also said that the sun would become dark and the moon would be become blood, before, the great and notable day of the Lord would come. Acts 2:19-20 

It is that day when He will come to be glorified in His saints. 2 Thess. 1:10 

At the same time, He is seen coming in flaming fire taking vengeance on the ungodly. 2 Thess. 1:8-9 

It is like a two pronged attack. To the redeemed it is a glorious and wonderful day. A day of union and reunion with the Lord and all of His saints. To the sinner it is the day of judgment and separation. It is indeed their final day of this worldly life. All are free moral agents. 

We, ourselves determine which group of people we will be in. Our eternal destiny is in our hands. We are the masters of our eternal situation. Every work possible to keep us from eternal punishment has been done. The decision now rests with each individual.

It is like a two pronged attack. To the redeemed it is a glorious and wonderful day. A day of union and reunion with the Lord and all of His saints. To the sinner it is the day of judgment and separation.

It is indeed their final day of this worldly life. All are free moral agents. We, ourselves, determine which group of people we will be in. Our eternal destiny is in our hands. We are the masters of our eternal situation. Every work possible to keep us from eternal punishment has been done. The decision now rests with each individual.   




  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. Ps. 19  38

    AQUARIUS, THE WATER BEARER. 
This constellation is represented by a man pouring out water from an urn held in his hands. The promise of the Lord is, that to those who would respond to Him, He would pour out of His Spirit and reveal His Word to them. The anointing of the Spirit will create a hunger in the heart of man for the revelation and a comprehension of the Word. Prov. 1:23 

Water poured from His buckets. Num. 24:7 While the word relates to Jacob, it goes beyond that and must be applied as a prophetic utterance truly relevant to the Lord Jesus. It is He who promised to send another comforter, one like Himself. John 14:1 

His Word has been spread around the world, found in many waters. Jesus the king is higher and greater than any other. His kingdom is the greatest for it is eternal. He has promised to pour out water [the Spirit] on those that are thirsty, but better yet, floods on the dry ground. A super abundance. The Lord only knows that the ground is dry enough these days. This blessing was to come upon the seed and offspring of the nation of the Lord. The spiritual, not the natural, except they repent. Isa. 44:3 


    PISCES AUSTRALIS. The first decan. The southern fish. Depicted as a fish drinking from the stream poured forth. The fish, a sign used to symbolize a Christian which is drinking from the stream of living waters. John 7:38 

When the fish is in the flow, the flow also erupts from the fish. There is an anointing that gushes forth from the truly Spirit filled. Note that it is more than a river that is flowing but there are rivers coming forth from those filled with the Spirit. 
    

    PEGASUS. The second decan. 
The great winged (white. Seiss} horse, flying with great speed. The opening of the First seal is the pouring forth of the Spirit of the Lord in the last day revival known as Pentecostal, with all of its various streams. This sign was called by the Greeks, the horse of the gushing fountain. 

Joel prophesied of a day when the mountains would flow with new wine, the hills with milk and the rivers be filled with waters. Then there would be a fountain in the house of the Lord. The greatest move of the Spirit has been reserved for this end of the age. The fountain, the reservoir of the Lord is ceaseless and flowing with great abundance. Joel 3:18 

So the great flying white horse of the Revelation is the outpouring of the Spirit. Briefly, white is the color of purity. A horse is a symbol of power. The bow is identified as the Word of the Lord. The battle bow was to come from Judah [the tribe of Jesus]. Zech. 10:4 

The bow is the WORD. Being made naked is the Revelation of the WORD.  Hab. 3:9 

His rider is crowned. He is a king. He will go forth conquering and to conquer. From victory unto victory. The WORD anointed by the Spirit is that which is triumphant. There is a mighty work to be wrought by the Spirit in these the last days. The rider of this horse is revival accomplished by the outpouring of the Spirit. Hallelujah. Jesus reigns.

    PEGASUS. Continued. 
    STARS WITH MEANINGFUL NAMES. 
    MARKAB (Heb. MERHAK) Meaning, returning from afar. The brightest star in this decan. Jesus, after His death, burial and resurrection was scheduled to ascend, to go away, enter heaven and present His body as the mercy seat and blood upon the mercy seat. Therefore He said to Mary, "Touch me not for I have not yet ascended to My Father". John 20:17 

It was expedient that He go away, for until He did, the Comforter would not come. The Comforter was vital to the preaching of the Gospel. The building up and establishment of the Body of Christ, the church. Though He is the Spirit and therefore of the Godhead, He was to speak only the things that were spoken to Him. He was to be in submission to the leadership of the Godhead. His mission also was to reveal the things that were to come. Some of which, even until today have not happened. John 16:7-13 

The work and operation of the Spirit will culminate in the Second Coming of the Christ of God, in the end of the age. He promised that if He went away, He would come again. John 14:28 

The two men in white, witnessing His ascension with the disciples, assured them that this same Jesus, which they had visibly seen go, would come again in the same visible manner. Acts 1:11 


    SCHEAT, meaning He who goes and returns, is another of the stars found here. He is anticipating the day when He will receive His redeemed unto Himself, that they might be together eternally. John 14:3


    ENIF, the branch, is another meaningful star of this group. Again, it is Jesus who must be seen here. The prophetic utterance of Isaiah pertaining to Christ is beautiful and presents Him in several aspects. Isa. 11:1 

As the ROD, or the slender twig, Jesus is that rule and authority which was to come, of Jesse and David who possessed the covenant of the Royal nature and the Kingdom to come. From a dead stump was to spring forth the eternal and everlasting Kingdom of the Lord. Jesus is also the root of this great and grand tree of life. Isa. 11:10 

He is likewise the Branch, a shoot, a scion. From this place of small beginnings He whose name is the BRANCH will prosper and grow and has the responsibility of building the temple of the LORD, JEHOVAH. This is the true, the real temple of which all others were but types and shadows. Zech. 6:12 

Jesus is the righteous branch, the King who will reign, whose name is the LORD our righteousness. Jer. 23:5-6 

It is important to note that this same scripture when quoted in chapter thirty-three has a striking change. It is now a SHE who will bear that name and fit the category of righteousness. This is His perfected church at the end of the age whom He has elevated to the same status as Himself. Jer. 33:15-16 

His bride will be equal to Him in every aspect. She will be pure and holy. So much so, that she will be able to bear the same name, The LORD our righteousness. His intent and purpose will culminate in that body of perfection. His very perfection will be hers too.





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19.  40

    CYGNUS. The third decan of Aquarius. 
Seen as a swan. A great and mighty bird. The message is that of a large adult bird defending its nest and its young. This is an allusion to the defense that the Lord will perform in protecting His people. The true Jerusalem of God is to be defended, delivered and preserved. Isa. 31:5 

Jesus likened His ministry to Jerusalem as that of a mother hen. One which would have performed the exact type of protection as was promised through the prophecy of Isaiah. The opportunity for Divine safekeeping was limitless, had they but recognized the day of their visitation. Unfortunately, they blew it, gone was the possibility of a perfect Theocracy. Jesus said, that their house was now desolate and would remain so until they became willing to accept the message of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Mt. 23:37-39 

It is impossible to consider such a subject without including the promise of the Ninety-first Psalm. In the face of dire circumstances of the worst kind, there is a sanctuary and a place of refuge. The warmth, the security of the under feathers of the wing of a protecting bird are offered. In this instance, not those of the mother but of the father, for they are noted to be HIS feathers. The wings of a bird do not seem to us as a place of great defense but to the baby bird it is in a place of absolute safety. Ps. 91:4


    DENIB, is the brightest star to be found in this sign. 
Its name means the judge to come. The Lord Jesus is known as the savior of the world. He came to seek and save that which was lost. In His ministry special opportunity was given to Jerusalem to repent. However they rejected the one who came especially to them. John 1:11 

Therefore He turned to the whosoever will. John 1:12 

The prophetic plea of Isaiah was that they return to Him against whom they had so greatly revolted.  Isa. 31:6 

This, then is the cause for Jerusalem's problems, even until today. Their house has been deserted by the Lord. The peace of Jerusalem is dependent on their continued rejection of their Messiah or their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Messiah. We have a terrific example in Jacob's [Israel] return to his home land and his meeting with Esau [Arab]. 

The secret of Jacob's success of meeting peacefully with his brother was a night spent in travailing prayer, so intense and powerful that he literally laid hold of the Lord, in the form of an angel. That is prevailing prayer. It worked then and it will work again, when it is tried. 

Jacob's motive for his prayer of desperation was fear. Most people pray when they are faced with a situation that creates fear. The angel not only touched Jacob, afflicting him until it became a life long sign but He changed his name. Jacob, became Israel, a prince prevailing with the Lord. With the change of his name came the change of his character. 

It was a different, humbled Jacob who met his brother and they fell on each others neck, kissed and wept. Gen. 32 and 33

It was impossible because of the strong feelings that existed between these brothers but it happened and it will be repeated in this end of the age.

    PISCES, THE FISHES. The blessings in deferral. 
In the zodiac of Egypt it was PICOT ORION or PISCES HORI, the fishes (i.e., swarms or multitudes) of him who cometh. Jesus was a fisherman above all others, and beautifully demonstrated His ability. Very human like, His fishermen disciples returned to fishing at the instigation of Peter. 

Having fished all night, they were utterly without a fish until Jesus appeared. He instructed them to cast the net on the right side of the boat. He had called them to leave their nets but like so many they returned to their old occupation, out of the will of the Lord. Jesus did not rebuke them, He just showed them a better way, the way of faith on the other side of their boat. 

When they were obedient they caught a great catch of fish. So many they could not haul their net in. Obedience produces a great harvest. When they arrived on the beach, Jesus had already prepared breakfast for them. John 21:1-10  


    THE PROPHECY OF A GREAT END TIME HARVEST OF FISH. 
At a time when my Pastor, the late W.H. Offiler was preaching a great harvest and revival in the end of the age, the popular doctrine was, "as in the days of Noah". Just a few, eight were saved, so it would be before the Second Coming of Christ. BUT, today what is more exciting than the message of a move of the Spirit, which is heard throughout the world, from pulpit, radio and TV, wherever the Gospel is preached. 

This IS harvest time. Ezekiel saw the advancement of the kingdom of the Lord depicted as flowing waters, springing forth from the temple of the Lord and increasing in intensity and volume. After four measurements, each of one thousand cubits [from Adam to Christ was four thousand years] the waters became a great river at flood time. The waters are waters of healing and life. everything is made well, every thing grows with great vigor where ever the waters flow. 

The waters flow into the sea, bringing healing to the waters. The sea is a type of humanity. The last day revival will change peoples and nations, churches and religions. It will produce a unity of the Spirit and doctrine in absolute perfection. There will be a great harvest of fish. 

The fishermen will stand on its banks and fish from EN-GEDI [Fountain of a kid], or from the time of Christ, to EN-EGLAIM [Fountain of two calves], the perfected church, united with and made into the very likeness of Christ. The dual sacrifice, Christ and His Bride. Eze. 47:1-10 

In keeping with our subject, there will be a great multitude [exceeding many] of fish of every kind and description caught in the nets. Only a mighty move of the Spirit can in any way accomplish the purpose of the Lord for these last days. The population of the earth is increasing faster than the growth of the church. Remember, the Lord always visits in mercy before judgment. This generation deserves a mighty manifestation of the power and glory of the Lord. He will finish His WORD [work, logos] in the earth by doing a quick and short work in the days preceding the great tribulation. Rom. 9:28 

An opportunity for the world to come to Him or face the judgments to come. 
    




  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM 19.  42

    PISCES. Continued, with other names which are applied to it.
    DAGIM. Hebrew, the fishes. 
The promise of the Lord is of great abundance. In creation, when He created the creatures of the sea, the waters brought forth abundantly. Jacob, when blessing Joseph pronounced that his descendants would increase and grow into a great multitude in the earth. Gen. 48:16 

Even when in captivity in Egypt they increased abundantly in number, becoming exceedingly mighty until the land was filled with them. Ex. 1:7 

The multitudes of the redeemed gathered in the kingdom of he Lord are described as a "great multitude which no man could number". Rev. 7:9 
    

    NUNO, Syrian. Lengthened out, i.e., in prosperity. 
It would seem at times that the church, in pursuit of the riches of this world, has lost its vision of the prosperity of the spiritual nature. There is a strong appeal made to the carnal nature of man to gain wealth as a sign of spiritual prosperity, while just the opposite is true. The scriptures still instruct us to seek FIRST the kingdom of God. Mt. 6:33 

It was the PLEASURE OF THE LORD, the will and purpose of the Lord which was to prosper in His hand. Isa. 53:10 

By all means, place your emphases on Spiritual things, do the Lords will, with singleness of heart. Allow Him to supply your every need and you will be blest.


    THE BRIGHTEST STARS.     
    OKDA, the united. 
It is impossible to study the Godhead in the scriptures without discovering the absolute unity that is in that Godhead. That is why it is so difficult for some to relate to the differences that are presented between its members. 

The word unity defines the Lord and the name Lord defines the word unity. There is no greater example of unity. Amazingly, we are invited to share in that extremely tight knit relationship. Paul said, "He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit". 1 Cor. 6:17 

How close is that affinity to be? The response to the question is absolute, with the same measure of unity which is seen in the Godhead. The Word places us in the position of being, "members of His body". Eph. 5:30 

One cannot get any closer than that. He has called His church to unity, unfortunately man has divided it and keeps it so. However, it will not continuously be so. He is to have a glorious church in the end of the age and we are there. There will be a people who are totally joined to Him.


    AL SAMACA, Arabic. The upheld. 
O, the beauty of the promises and protection of the Lord. There is not a circumstance in life but what the LORD is sufficient to lead us to victory. He has promised His continuing presence and assured us of victory. He has promised to uphold us with His right hand [Jesus]. When we exercise perfect faith and confidence there will be no need of fear. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Isa. 41: 10-13   





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19  43

    THE DECANS OF PISCES.

    THE BAND. A binding together, a work of unifying. 
The Lord in bringing His people into an intimate relationship with Him uses His great and marvelous love. Hos. 11:4 

It is His love that attracts us to Him. A love that covers all our sin and wrong doing. Not matter how great we account our sin to be, He quickly and easily forgives us when we confess our sin to Him. Would that we were all like the maid in Solomon's Song who was so greatly attracted that she RAN after Him, rejoicing in Him and will ever remember His love. SOS. 1:4 

The love of Christ is a most compelling love. 2 Cor. 5:14


    U-OR, the Egyptian name. 
He cometh, binding them together. There is a gathering, a coming together that is most astonishing in light of the prevailing conditions. There is so much that keeps the church divided and separated one from another that the staggering possibility of a united body of believers, without schism or disagreement seems an impossibility.

However, the Lord will have His Bride, the church of perfection in Christian living, in worship and in doctrine. He proclaimed that at harvest time He would commission his angels to gather the tares out from the midst of the wheat, bind them and burn them. At the same time He would have them gather His wheat into His barn. Our individual classification at that time depends entirely on ourselves. Mt. 13:30 

Man builds the wall of denominationalism. The Lord has emphatically stated that there is but one fold and one shepherd. Not mine, not yours, but HIS. John 10:16 

The LORD through Ezekiel addressed the spiritual leadership of Israel in an extremely scorching manner. This is a very important, THUS SAITH THE LORD and applies today as well as it did in those days. It was a prophecy directed against them, a rebuke, if you please. 

He pointed out the fact that the shepherds of Israel had fleeced the sheep, failed to feed them, driven them away and in general mistreated them in every manner. The mean while they were prospering and enjoying the good life. The main complaint against them was that they did not feed them the WORD. 

Shepherds, hear the bleating of your sheep and feed them. Quit that which adds to your pride of delivery, become practical and serve up food for the sheep of the Lord. In the time of spiritual famine the Lord has said that He will intervene and seek out His sheep, delivering them and bringing them together. He will care for them, heal them, feed them and provide for them His servant David [Christ] to watch over them and feed them. 

There will be one shepherd. The people will be one. The LORD has spoken it therefore it shall be done. They will live under the covenant of peace. All evil beasts will be destroyed out of their land of refuge. 

They will dwell safely in  the WILDERNESS with showers of blessings descending on them. We will see a revival that will unify a church, and make it to be the Bride of Christ in these last days. Eze. 34:1-26  






      SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM 19  44

    CEPHUS, THE KING. The second decan in Pisces. 
The picture is that of a king, one who is to rule and reign. The kingship of Christ is quite unique. He is destined to rule here on earth but not over a worldly kingdom. He plainly stated that His kingdom was not of this world. John 18:36 

The expectation of Israel in His day of ministry was that the Messiah would come and establish their nation for its former glory. it is very obvious that was not the case. Unfortunately, there are those in the church, even in these days, who are advocating a natural, worldly kingdom which will only continue life as it is now on planet earth. This will not take place. The kingdom of the Lord on earth will be on a renovated earth and entirely without sin or sinners. It is the kingdom of HEAVEN. even now, as the kingdom is found in the church it is manifest as righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Rom. 14:17 

After all the judgments, the purging, the cleansing that is declared in the book of Revelation, His kingdom will be established. The last trumpet, the seventh, announces the establishment of a kingdom which is eternal. Rev. 11:15


    More important than the kingdom, is the KING. The kingdom would not exist were it not for the KING. He embraces a dual role, neither of which would exist without the other. Zech. 6:13 

He is first of all, the priest, the one and only who has been on earth and has accessed heaven for us. There is only one mediator who has the ability to feel the emotions of mankind, then reach out and touch the Father for us, that is Jesus. 1 Tim. 2:5 

All the glory, the majesty of the Lord is to be His royal robe. He is the peg in a sure place upon which all the glory of the family was to be hung. Isa. 22:24  

He is the king/priest enacting the fullness of both offices while sitting established on His throne. He is that one and only Melchizedek, the priest of the most high God. Heb. 6:20 

A very special group of saints who are martyred during the tribulation period. Yes, there will be some saints still on the earth during that time. There will be those who also repent under the ministry of the two witnesses. All these will die for their confession of Jesus as the Messiah. They are then given special recognition in the Millennium because they refused the mark of the beast. They live and REIGN with Christ for the thousand years. They are very special in His sight. Rev. 20:4 

All those who come up in the first resurrection will likewise have a part in the celebrations of that glorious Sabbath of the Lord, the seventh day. Rev. 20:6 

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. Never ending, forever and forever, eternal. 2 Pet. 1:11 

The rule and order of the day will be that of the majestic kingdom of our Lord and His Christ in the new heavens and the new earth. The kingdom of everlasting righteousness and holiness. Never again will sin or corruption show its ugly head. Peace and joy will prevail. Worship will be in its purest form and completely motivated by the Spirit of the Lord.






  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19   45

    PE-KU-HOR. In the Zodiac of Denderah, this one coming to rule.
Without question a reference to the Lord Jesus. Of all the political leaders who have been and all who are to come there is none greater than Jesus in all of His glory and majesty. The scriptures present Him as the "KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS". That places Him to be greater than all the great ones who have come and gone. The ultimate leadership of this world will be in His hands. Rev. 19:16 

An event that we may be sure will take place at the time of His coming is the cleansing and purging of His kingdom. Neither sin nor sinners will be found in the Millennial reign of Christ. All words and deeds of unrighteousness will be removed along with those who commit them. Mt. 13:41 

The words of the Lord are very definite in relationship to the separation which will take place at His coming and the establishment of His kingdom. Mt. 13:49


    AL-RAI. One of the stars used in depicting the royal figure. 
It means, who bruises and breaks. The coming of the Lord Jesus and the battle of Armageddon are one and the same event. This will take place when Jesus comes as a thief in the night. Totally unexpected by the ungodly rulers and people of the earth, because they refuse to believe in Him. Rev. 16:15 

They will be gathered together to do battle against Him. One world, unified under the guidance of one known as the antichrist. One great and massive army attempting to defeat Christ at His coming. Rev. 16:16 

While it is called a battle it is actually one great defeat for all the unrighteous nations led by the forces of evil. Just think of the extremely great power of the Lord displayed at this moment until all the mountains and islands are moved out of their locations. That is a quaking of the earth which is to be world wide and simultaneously. The complete topography of the earth will be altered. Rev. 16:20 

We are assured that none of the ungodly in that day will escape the bruising and breaking that is their destiny. From the most prominent leader to the lowest slave, all are to be eliminated at the time of His second coming. It is a time of complete annihilation for those who refuse to serve the Lord. The list that is given by the angel completely covers the spectrum of humanity. None will be excluded from the final judgment of the unholy. It is at this moment of time that the antichrist and his cohort the false prophet are taken into captivity and cast alive into the lake of fire. All those who had been deceived by these two deceivers will be at the same time
slain by the sword of the Lord. Rev. 19:17-21 

It is evident that before Christ can come again there are certain events which must transpire. One of them is most certainly a mighty move of the Spirit which is so eloquently being proclaimed all over the world in these days. Thank the Lord for that. If the antichrist is to be destroyed by the coming of Christ, then the antichrist must come first, for he will be destroyed by the brightness of the coming of the Lord Jesus. Simple logic shows us the impossibility of the doctrine of the imminent return of Christ. First things first. 2 Thess. 2:8





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19.  46

    ANDROMEDIA. The third decan. 
Represented by a beautiful woman, fettered. The woman is used as a type of the church, the bride of Christ. She is fettered and bound by the machinations of church denominations and the doctrines of men. The woman denotes the living church, the bride of Christ. She is beautiful beyond description. In her ministry and worship before the Lord she is clothed with garments of praise. The body of Christ, the bride, is composed of a people who He has elevated to be a kingdom of kings and priest unto the Lord. Rev. 1:6 

Kings were clothed in royal robes, while the priest of the Lord was clothed with very distinguishing garments indicative of his position in the community. It is written that they were for "glory and for beauty". Ex. 28:2 

So will the glory and the beauty of the Lord be made manifest in His Bride. In the tabernacle it was a beauty created by man. In the Bride it will be the image and nature of the living Lord revealed in His people. 


    HIS BRIDE, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL OF ALL. 
From the initial work of salvation in us the Lord is determined to beautify His people. His joy and pleasure is in His people. His intent is to beautify them with His salvation. Bestowing upon them that new life and a new nature. Ps. 149:4 

Each individual is to put on the spirit of that new man. We have now become a new creation, the old has passed away and ALL has become new. The character of that new person is now displayed by the manifestation of righteousness and true holiness. This is not something that we achieved through Christian education but the new person has received the new nature. It has been implanted in His heart and by virtue of having been born anew, they will begin to live a new life. It is not something that we grow into but because the Spirit of the Lord has taken up His abode in us we follow His leading and directions. Eph. 4:24 

One of the evidences of the presence of the new nature is in the second step of salvation. Jesus made it an imperative for entrance in to the kingdom of the Lord when He said, "EXCEPT a man be born of water and of the Spirit he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5 

That is strong language. One without the other is insufficient. As natural birth is by water and spirit so is spiritual birth.

Paul emphasizes the importance of water baptism, not as a ritual or a sign, but as a furtherance of our spiritual life in Christ. He said that all who had been baptized INTO Christ had put on Christ. 

INTO, being placed within or in the case of baptism, being enveloped, surrounded by the water. In this manner we put on Christ, the bearer of glory and beauty. Gal. 3:27 

The new man will come to a complete knowledge and comprehension of who and what Christ is. The Bride is destined to bear the full and absolute image and likeness of the Lord Jesus. The beauty of the bride is occasionally alluded to in the scriptures and we may be well assured that she will be the very essence of glory and beauty. The world has never seen a being as beautiful as the Bride of Christ, for she is like Him. Col. 3:10





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19  47

    SPECIAL STARS DEPICTING THIS ROYAL FIGURE OF CEPHUS.

    AL-DURMIN. Meaning, the quickly returning. 
A star representing the right shoulder. The shoulder, in many areas of the world, is that portion of the body which is used to carry burdens. In the case of the high priest he was to have on each shoulder an epaulet of onyx stone in which the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were to be carved. Six names on each shoulder, according to their birth. The stones were mounted in gold filigree and fastened to the shoulder. They were termed to be, "stones of memorial". In this manner the tribes were always brought before the Lord as the priest would minister in the tabernacle. Ex. 28:9-12 

Isaiah prophesied of this aspect of the life of Christ. He spoke of Him as being the sin bearer of many, and making intercession for the transgressors. How thankful we can be that we have accepted Him as our mediator, for His work of redemption is complete and eternal. Isa. 53:12 

He is the only savior, the only advocate between the Lord and mankind. He died, was buried, rose from the grave and ascended on high, for the explicit purpose of being an intercessor for all who would desire and call upon Him. None are rejected, regardless of their sinfulness and wickedness, providing they repent and call upon His name. There is absolute forgiveness in Christ. Heb. 7:25 


    THE LEFT KNEE. Represents the shepherd. 
Where could we find a symbol that is more befitting the Lord Jesus? In Israel of old, the shepherd was most generally also the owner of the sheep, therefore deeply concerned and protective of the sheep. Jesus spoke a parable concerning the sheep and their attack by a wolf. He depicted the hireling as running in fear as a matter of self preservation when the wolf appeared. 

But the "GOOD SHEPHERD" would protect and preserve His sheep, even to the sacrificing of His life. In the case of the Lord Jesus, His actions were not to protect from financial loss but an act of His great love for His sheep. He knows his sheep and they know Him and will not follow another. There is total dedication on the part of shepherd and sheep. John 10:11-14 

The sheep respond to the voice of the shepherd. It is a means of identification for them. They find comfort and direction in His voice and will not follow after the voice of a stranger. Upon hearing a strange voice they will flee trying to escape whatever danger there may be experienced from that individual. John 10:5 

The voice of the Lord is heard in His WORD. There is no more sure way of knowing His will than that which has been recorded in THE BOOK. There is not a situation or problem in life which is not solved by the WORD of the LORD. There are many voices heard today, all searching for an opportunity to direct the life of others, pathetically, many are willing to hear and follow these strange voices which claim to be from the Lord. We have a very certain and trustworthy voice of instruction and direction found in the WORD. Let it speak into your heart. 





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19  48

    ARIES, THE RAM OR LAMB. 
The blessings consummated. The slain lamb, yet living and filled with heavenly vigor. The elder knew Him as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Christ was of the lineage of Judah. The root of David. A descendant of David, the one in whom all the promises given to David were to be fulfilled. Jesus is the conquering King of heaven. Rev. 5:5

As the slain, yet ever living lamb, He is the very nucleus of all the wonderful activity of heaven. His power is absolute, seen in the seven horns [completeness of authority]. The fullness of the Spirit is His, the seven fold [AMP] Spirit. Enumerated in Isaiah 11:2. 

Of all the occupants of heaven, only He had the ability to open the seven seals which introduce the last days. John introduced Him as the Lamb of God who would remove the sin of the whole world. He made it possible for all of mankind to be saved and set free from their sin. He is the one and only one who could produce such an accomplishment. John. 1:29


    VARIOUS NAMES WERE GIVEN TO ARIES, all of which bear the same connotation. 
TALEH, Hebrew, the lamb. AL-HAMEL, Arabic, the sheep, the gentle one. What a fitting name to give the Christ of God. Isaiah foretold of His meekness and willingness to go to the cross. Isa. 53:7 

BAR ZIGGAR, is the name given by the Accadian, meaning the altar making right, the sacrifice of righteousness. Sin defeated by he self sacrifice of he pure, holy one. A once for all action that was for all of time, blotting out and bringing it to a conclusion in the life of the believer. Heb. 9:26 

Jesus, as the true high priest with one entrance, presenting His own blood gained eternal redemption for those who become His. Heb. 9:32 

That "once for all sacrifice" is the means whereby we may stand in sanctification and true holiness before the Lord. All by His precious blood. His blood was shed for the atonement and redemption of all who would receive Him. Heb. 10:10


    ARIES was also called the head, the chief. 
The scriptures also show Jesus to be the Chief Shepherd. More than a leader of the sheep, He is the Shepherd of the shepherds. Supreme and above all. There is no questioning His guidance. His reward will be that majestic, everlasting, crown of glory which is to be dispensed at the time of His appearing or coming. 1 Pet. 5:4 

Christ is the head over all things to the church. The fullness of responsibility is His. Our life, our sustenance, our spirituality, our all flows from the Lord Jesus. Being made to be His body, we are to have the same substance of spiritual life that is in Him. The body joined to the head must be of one communion and essence. The body is what He is. The body has what He has. The body lives out His life here in this life showing forth His very being and likeness. If we are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, then we must be precisely what He is. Eph. 1:22-23 

The body cannot be different or less than the head. We are indeed presented with a high and holy calling as the bride of Christ.

    THE DECANS OF ARIES.

    CASSIEPEIA. The enthroned woman, the beautiful. 
The seventh church, the last mentioned. The church of Laodicea is like the "mixed multitude" that went up, out of Egypt in the days of Moses. As long as things were going right they were all for the Lord. When trials came their way, they rebelled. This church is lukewarm, wishy-washy, trusting in their riches and extremely worldly. However, it is here that we find the promise to the overcoming of a position, with Christ on His throne. Out of these conditions Jesus will find a Bride who will rule and reign with Him. She will be like Him and have full authority with Him. Rev. 3:21 

The Psalmist describes her as being "all glorious within", indicating the beautiful Spirit of the Lord who has purified her in the inner being. She is holy, righteous and completely filled with the Spirit. Ps. 45:13 

She is in possession of that "unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit". 1 Pet. 3:4 NIV. 

She is clothed with garments of "beauty and glory", Robes of righteousness that are of extreme value and very gorgeous, for she is the wife of the King of kings. In the midst of an extremely confusing church age she has the spiritual sense to prepare herself for the coming great and wonderful wedding. Rev. 19:7


    OETUS, The sea monster. 
The second decan. One of the main events in the end of the age is the coming of the antichrist. The monster of the sea. He is to be seen rising up out of the sea. The sea in Bible language often speaks of the masses of humanity. The antichrist is a man. He will be a well known and popular religious leader, he is from the last day church. There has always been those, who though a part of a spiritual family or gathering have been turncoats, apostates who in the end are made known.

For a quick example, Judas, the one who betrayed the Lord Jesus. Jesus, from the beginning knew who and what Judas was for he said, "I have chosen you twelve and one is the devil". John 6:70 

To a church that is seeking after prosperity, note the trail of Judas. He was the treasurer for Jesus and His disciples. He was a thief. Always pilfering from the collection. John 12:6 

His thinking was always on monetary gain. He objected to the perfume being used to anoint Jesus. He saw only its market value. John 12:4 

Judas was willing to betray Jesus and struck a bargain with those who hated him for the paltry sum of thirty pieces of silver. Mat. 26:14-15 

From that day he watched for an opportunity to betray Jesus. What evil thoughts must have been flowing through his mind. He remained among the group, partook with them of the Passover feast but all the while was filled with a demonic spirit of betrayal. He betrayed Jesus with a kiss. An act of love and fellowship which had no meaning to him other than a sign that this was Jesus. Lk. 22:48 

Afterwards he was remorseful but found no forgiveness. He had crossed the border of forgiveness.

    CONCERNING CETUS, the sea monster. 
Job was aware of this sign in the heavens. He referred to it as a work of the hand of the Lord. He formed the crooked serpent. Job. 26:13 

It proves to us that the ancients were well aware of the mythical signs of the heavens. In reference to Israel's deliverance from Egypt the Psalmist said that the Lord split the heads of the dragons [crocodiles, stand for political powers. In this case Egypt]. The scriptures are alluding to the defeat of the Egyptian army at the Red sea. Ps. 74:13 

Pharaoh, himself a type of the political element of the antichrist, boasted of his control and strength of the river Nile, the very life line of Egypt. He claimed it to be his and that he had made it for himself. Eze. 29:3

The Lord however, promised that He would utterly destroy him. Eze. 29:5 

There is then the call for the strength of the Lord to arise and destroy Rahab [boaster] and the dragon. Isa. 51:9 

The antichrist and his cohort the false prophet are destined to be captured at the close of the tribulation period and will be cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. Not a very pleasant conclusion for these two who had risen to power and great heights during the time of the tribulation period. They are to be exceedingly cruel despots. Their judgment is just. There is no respite to their torment. Rev. 19:20 

The devil is to be thrown into the same place, for a thousand years, after which he will be loosed for a very brief period of time. Rev. 20:10

    ISAIAH, foreknew and prophesied of this great enemy of the Lord and of His people. His punishment is certain. The sword of the Lord that is declared to be a severe and troublesome weapon, great in every sense and exceedingly strong and violent when used in judgment. There can be no question as to the outcome of every confrontation between the dragon and the sword of the Lord. Isa 27:1 


    KNEM, so named in the zodiac of Denderah. 
Meaning subdued. More than subdued he will be brought into complete submission. The brightest stars in this constellation are interesting. MENKAR, chained. The chains used to bind him are great and most certainly exceedingly strong and unbreakable. He is incarcerated in the bottomless pit for the duration of the thousand years of the Millennial reign of Christ on the earth. He is also locked in and sealed, with no possibility of escape. 


DIPHDA, overthrown or cast down. 
His ultimate destination is the lake of burning sulfur where he will join his cohorts the antichrist and the false prophet. This is his eternal abode where their torment and punishment is
eternal. Rev. 20:10 


MIRA, the rebel. The five I wills of his rebellion are listed in Isaiah 14:13-15 

His pride exceeded his abilities and drove him to attempt to be the utmost authority of heaven and earth. His failure is self evident. His eternal destiny is set. There is no possibility of an escape from the punishment that will be his.

    PERSEUS, the breaker. 
A leader who will break through the blindness and stubbornness of religion. Bringing to Jacob and Israel a move of the Spirit which will draw them into the kingdom of the Lord Jesus. "One who breaks open the way will go before them". Micah 2:13

None but Jesus is the way maker. He is the way the truth and the life. "They will break through the gate". Jesus is the door, passing through Him is the only way of salvation. His sheep will, "go in and out and find pasture". John 10:9 

The Lord Himself will set up an eternal kingdom that will consume and destroy all other kingdoms. Dan. 2:44 

They will follow the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus to fountains of living waters. The Lord in His mercy has scheduled a great revival for Israel and the rest of the nations of the world. Rev. 7:17 

He will visit with a mighty move of revival before the last judgments, for He is a Lord of mercy.


    KAR-KNEM, Zodiac of Denderah. 
He who fights and subdues. Prior to the second coming, a trio of satanic, unclean spirits well be loosed upon the peoples of this world. Rev. 16:14 

As odd and forbidding as they may seem to be, they are persuasive. Going to the leadership of this world and marshaling them together to do battle with the Lord. What stupidity and pride to think that they can withstand the Lord. They will use outstanding signs and miracles to convince the world, that they are indeed the trinity. But it is all a lie. 

Satan is a great imitator of the Lord. Note that they gather the armies of the world to do battle, for, it is the day of the great battle, the great day of the Almighty God. It is the day of the second coming of the Lord Jesus. 

It is the day when He comes as a thief in the night, to the ungodly of this world. By their very act of preparedness, the world knows that it is the time of His coming. Even so, the fierceness of His coming and the hour of it will be a great surprise to them. They are prepared to follow the battle plans of men, but they will be facing an angry God. Rev. 16:14

Not that there is a special warning to the Bride, that she watch and maintain that standard of spirituality which is her wedding garment. There are no other believers on the earth at this time with the exception of the Bride in the wilderness. Rev. 12:6, 14. 

She has been kept and sustained by the Lord, in the wilderness, that place prepared by the Lord, for the tribulation period of three and one-half years. The battle of Armageddon is the last great war and is identical to the second coming of the Lord Jesus at the close of the tribulation period. Rev. 16:16 

It is at this moment of time that the armies of the Lord are made visible with their leader who is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Rev. 19:11-16 

Any who in their conceit think that they can stand before the Lord of the universe are doomed for defeat. It is called war and a battle but the enemy will never be able to use their weapons. The fierce sword of the Lord, the very power of the WORD spoken in the power and authority of the living Lord will immediately defeat them. They will be defeated and totally crushed by the power of the Lord.

    TAURUS, THE BULL. Messiah coming to help.

    The Egyptians gave this sign the following names. The Head, the Captain, the mighty Chieftain who cometh.  The picture here is not the common bull but rather the UNICORN of scripture. It is called REEM or, pre-eminence, by the Hebrews. The great strength and independence of the UNICORN is mentioned in Job 39:9-12 

An animal which could not be brought into subjection to become a servant to man. Free from all the captivity and restraints that men would seek to perpetrate on him in an effort to subdue him. Jacob when blessing Joseph proclaimed that his strength would be that like the horns of a Unicorn with the power and strength to overcome his enemies, even to the end of time. Deut. 33:17 

The Lord made manifest that great strength when He delivered the Israelites from the land of Egypt. Defeating, with His strength the enemies who confronted them. Nu. 23:22  24:8 

This demonstration of strength is attributed to the Lord Jesus. He was to make known the strength of the Lord in overcoming sin and iniquity. He was to be made the anointed of the Lord and that with fresh oil. Ps. 92:10


    The brightest stars. AL-DEBARAN, the leader or governor.
Bethlehem, of Judah was to be extended the title of a prince or leader because of the one who was to be born there. The designation of that of the Governor, the Leader, the Chief was applied to Christ by the prophet Micah [5:2]. This was not a part of the life of the Messiah of which the chief priest and the scribes had no knowledge. When questioned they were able to respond with the exact prophecy and understanding of the place of the birth of the Messiah. Mt. 2:5 

He was to rule the people of the Lord. Most unfortunately, the people of that day envisioned a worldly kingdom and not the spiritual kingdom which Christ brought. It would seem that some in this day are anticipating the same kind of an earthly, carnal kingdom, when the kingdom of Christ on earth will be Holy, and righteous, without sin or sinners. Jesus unequivocally stated that His kingdom is not of this world. John 1:36 

Even in the light of this, many try to carry the conditions of this present world over into His kingdom which is yet to come. Jesus is authority personified. All power and authority, past, present and future, in heaven and on earth is His as a gift from His Father. Mt. 28:18 

The Apostle Peter recognized the great and highest authority which had been extended to Him, the one exalted into heaven to the right hand of the living God. Where angels and authorities, of every and any kind, heavenly and earthly are made to be in subjection to Him. There is not any authority or power superseding that which is His. 1 Pet. 3:22  

All that is in existence today, visible and invisible, earthly and heavenly were created by Him and for Him and continue to function as they were created to perform by that authority and power, which is His. Col. 1:16-17

    TAURUS, THE BULL. Continued, with brightest stars.

    EL-NATH, The wounded or slain one. The Just and Holy One who suffered for the sins of the unjust. His great and marvelous purpose was to bring the sinner into fellowship and association with the Lord. Therefore His body was crucified, His natural life was given as the only acceptable sacrifice. But He was raised from the dead being brought to life through the Spirit of the of the God of Life. 1 Pet. 3:18 


    KIMAH. A group of stars called Pleiades, meaning heap or accumulation. The accumulated sin of the ages was borne by Him as He became sin for us. He took the condemnation, the anger and wrath of the Lord that we should have experienced and fully took our place on the tree. Eternal life was purchased by His death. His death assures us, that though the body may die, the spirit of the "born again" will live forever. 1 Pet. 2:24 

What we call death is simply the release of the spirit from the body. For the Christian it is a glorious and wonderful moment for we immediately find ourselves in the majestic presence of the Lord. Real death, eternal death will take place after the second resurrection when the world of the dead are gathered before the great white throne for judgment. There is no plea that will be entered here but that of guilty. There is no appeal, no release. The guilty, those whose names are not in the book of life are all cast into the lake of fire and this is stated to be the "second death". Rev. 20:12-15 

Our choice must be made now, and must be as positive and certain as night and day.

    The seven stars known as the doves. Job notes the sweet influences of Pleiades for the appearance of this group is a herald of the time of spring. The bursting forth into new life. Every year the plants go though the process of death and then life. A constant reminder of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Job 38:31 

In Job 9:9 he identifies Pleiades as a chamber of the south. When the tabernacle was set up, the candle stick, a type of the Word and the Spirit was always to the south. Liberty and the flowing of the streams [Spirit] of the south which were special. Ps 126:4 

The Bride prayed for the blowing of the south wind that the fragrance of her garden might be wafted abroad and act as a sweet smelling spice attracting her beloved. SOS. 4:16 

Ezekiel carried by the Spirit saw the city of the southland. The whole of which was to be measured by a man with the appearance of brass, glistening and shining. Who was to measure the whole of the city, who could that be but the Lord Jesus. Eze. 40:2-3 

The winds of the south were the winds that brought hot weather according to the one who created the winds. Luke 12:55 

All of that which we have noted is evidence of a moving of the Spirit. The number seven is a divine complete number and is the number of the Holy Spirit. Repeatedly in type and symbol, in Word and Promise it is revealed in the Word that the Lord will visit this generation, the last, with a mighty visitation of His Holy Spirit in a move such has never been before.






  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19.  54

    PLEIADES, Its Hebrew name is SUCCOTH, or booths. 
The first stopping place of the children of Israel as they left Egypt. What a massive movement of humanity and livestock moving across the land. They had left the city of Ramese, which they had built and were possibly quite at home there. Their homes were now behind and they were dwelling in tents or booths out in the country side. There were to be no accommodations of city life for them in their journey. Six hundred thousand men, besides women and children. Plus a group entitled a "mixed multitude". Which unquestionably was a collection of people who could have been a mixture of any number of races. They were not true Israelites.  Ex. 12:37-38

Eventually, this crowd was to be a problem to them. For they were to be the first who longed for the things that had been left behind. The NIV, calls them "rabble". Numbers 11:4 

A mixed multitude will always be a problem, especially in churches. 


    THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES. Or the feast of BOOTHS. The feast of ingathering, at the end of the Levitical year, on the fifteenth day of the seventh month at the time of the full moon. It was to last for seven days. The number seven, the number of divine completion is permanently evidenced in this feast. Its fulfillment is a symbol of the last  days. It was known as the feast of ingathering, for it came at the end of the year and the end of their harvests. It typifies the great ingathering of souls as revival sweeps the church in the end of the age. Ex. 23:16 

It was also called the feast of tabernacles because of their dwelling in booths as a reminder of their deliverance from Egypt and their dwelling in booths or tents. Lev. 23:42 

Jamieson, Fausset and Brown name the five trees as follows. First of all, five is the number of atonement. They were redeemed from Egypt by the blood of the Lamb. The Goodly tree, said to be the Citron tree which would supply the fragrance. Goodly in Hebrew is translated; splendor, beauty, excellency or glorious. Note the Psalmist said that he had a goodly inheritance, or a delightful inheritance. NIV. It was certainly so, for their inheritance was the Lord, Himself. Ps. 16:5-6 

The Palm tree, noted as being stately and erect is used as a sign of honor and worship. The righteous are associated with the palm tree because they flourish with the blessings of the Lord. Ps. 92:12 

Branches of palm trees were utilized to welcome the Lord Jesus into Jerusalem. John 12:13 The Myrtle tree replaces the brier for it will be for a name unto the LORD. Isa. 55:13 

It replaces that which is useless, like our lives without the Lord. The Willow, that which grows by the streams and the rivers. Like the Christian is attracted to the flow of the Spirit and is planted there. Its fruitfulness is noted in Eze. 17:5 

The Pomegranate, was part of the decoration on the hem of the high priest. It speaks of the blood of atonement because of the red color of its pulp. Likewise the multiplicity of its seeds epresents the work of the Holy Spirit as He multiplies the members of the body of Christ.   





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENLIES. PSALM 19.  55

    ORION. Meaning, The coming Prince. The first decan. Of His return there is no question. Prophet, priest and king have declared and written in the scriptures of His Second Advent. Jesus, Himself spoke of His return and likened it unto the flashing of lightning across the sky. An even that is highly visible. Mt. 24:27 

Jesus used the Greek word parousia in reference to that event. This is an interesting word and deserves a greater perusal.


    JESUS, in response to a question about the signs of His coming [parousia], gave a number of signs, some of which are very definitely being fulfilled, even as this is read. The appearing of many who would try to identify themselves as the Christ of God was the first mentioned and is of vital importance to the church. We must not be deceived and the only way to prevent that is a knowledge of the WORD and the anointing of the Spirit. Mt. 24:5 

Added to that will be false prophets. Jesus said that there would be many of these prophets and most unfortunately many would be deceived by them. The prophet, if legitimate, will speak according to the inspiration of the Word of the Lord and not from his own will. Spend some time considering the words of Jeremiah found in the 23 chapter of his book. "They speak of the deceit of their own heart". v. 26 

In other words they are deceived and consequently deceive others.


    JESUS spoke of conflict, local and world wide. There is no way whereby this aspect of the warning of His soon coming can be ignored. The world is a blaze with insurrection, revolutions, battles great and small. No nation is safe from an attack of terrorism. On an individual basis, murder is rampant and on the increase. Yet, He said that in spite of all these so evident signs that the end is NOT YET. Mt. 24:6 

Regardless of how anxious we are for His coming, HE SAID, NOT YET. Further divisions among the nations of the world is yet to come. Elements of conflict from rebels within kingdoms will increase in spite of all the efforts to create peace. He added to the fierce actions of men, famines, sometimes caused by the previous conditions. Pestilence's, diseases, many of which are new and no medication will stop them. Most new illnesses require years of research before a medication that will defeat the illness is developed. Earthquakes, in a great variety of places. There is no place in the world that will not be effected by the shaking of the earth in these last days. The book of Revelation signals out several unusual earthquakes then caps it all off with the granddaddy of all. The whole world shaking at one and the same time, until the topography of the whole earth is altered. No mountain, no island will be left in their current position. There will be great changes. Rev. 6:14 

Jesus gave a name to this time, "the beginning of sorrows". Mt. 24:8 

There is only one place of refuge and that is in the Lord Jesus Christ.  "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY." Ps. 91:1

    FURTHER SIGNS OF HIS COMING.  
As unwelcome as they are, there are definite signs preceding His coming which are and must take place. Persecution, is clearly evident in many countries of the world. The martyrs of this generation have been in the millions, and the end is not yet. Many will still give their lives for the Gospel. Their reward will be evident at the time of the First Resurrection, they will positively be rewarded in a very special way. Note Heb. 11:35 

They are identified as those who came out of the great tribulation period after having given their lives for Christ. So, persecution will reach its apex during that time. Rev. 7:14 

Amazingly, in a time of great Spiritual advance, there will also be those who are overwhelmed by the unrighteousness which will exceedingly increase in the world. Mt. 24:12 

Another, a sign very evident today, is the fact of the many who for one reason or another become offended at other Christians or the church. The word used by Jesus actually means displeasure or apostasy. Too many have allowed "situations" to distract them from the Lord Jesus and have joined the group of floating Christians. Those who have no certain fellowship with which they worship but are attracted to that which is more of a show than a benefit. When their displeasure becomes hate they will betray those who were formerly their friends even to their family. Mt. 24:10 

This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to every tongue, tribe and nation until the whole world will be reached for Christ. This must be accomplished prior to His Second Coming. Mt. 24:14   


    THE MOST HORRENDOUS SIGN. The abomination that makes desolate. Mt. 24:15 
Like many prophecies this one made by the Lord Jesus has a two fold effect. Its first fulfillment was the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman armies. The second is that which is important to us. See the antichrist for what he is. 

The Apostle Paul gave us a very excellent description of who and what the antichrist will be. His spirit is that of opposition, he is against everything and anything, always disgruntled and dissatisfied. Do you think that his spirit might already be in today's world? He is filled with self-exhalation. Filled with pride, boastful, and haughty. Excessively self important. Having the spirit of his father, the devil, he will emulate him and present himself as very God. See, the five, "I wills" of lucifer. Isa. 14:13-14 

As lucifer, the antichrist will be in the midst of the most spiritual church ever and separate himself from the very presence of the Lord. He will be a leader as was Judas, also a type of the antichrist. He originates from within the body of believers and will attempt to present himself as God manifest in a body which had been the temple of the Lord.

The antichrist is not a political leader but religious and spiritual. He will imitate the Lord Jesus and convince many that he is the returned Christ. He will ultimately become the leader, the head of every religion that exists at that time. He will also be the political despot who will amalgamate the whole world into one. Definitely there will be one religion and one kingdom
in the last days. 2 Thess. 2:4





  SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS.  PSALM 19  57 

    IN the first decan of ORION one of the brightest stars was RIGEL. Meaning, the foot of Him who crushes. The seed of the woman, the Lord Jesus, was to bruise the head of the serpent, the devil. Gen. 3:16 

Someone has said that the devil is "cruising for a bruising". His destiny is much worse than just a bruising. Utter and complete defeat and removal from off the scene is prepared for him. The false lion, the serpent, the adder will be thoroughly trampled under the feet of the Christ of God. Ps. 91:13 

The church will also have a part in the bruising of satan. Rom. 16:20 

The feet of the Lord Jesus are seen as feet of judgment. The fulfillment of a sentence that is unimaginable. The feet of Christ are seen as feet of brass that have been fully heated in the furnace of fire. Ezekiel saw the Lord in the completeness of one who is coming to avenge because of the gross wickedness of the world. Eze. 40:3 

Daniel looked upon Him and reported that His hands and His feet were like the color of polished brass. A person in whom the glory of the Lord is resident. Dan. 10:6 

He introduced Himself to the church at Thyatira as the one who had feet of fine brass. Rev. 2:18

Honest and worthy justice and judgment will be meted out by Him. 


    HE IS COMING IN FLAMING FIRE. 
The second coming of Christ is not an accidental event. It is well planed and has been from the eternity past. The Lord is right on schedule for the last days. Of that you may be absolutely certain. As miraculously as He runs the universe so also, time is in His hands. Nothing will deter or hasten the coming of Christ. All things prophesied in the WORD will and must be completed precisely according to His purposes. The antichrist must first appear on the scene and work all of his wickedness. Then and only then can he be destroyed by the brightness, the shining forth of the person of the Lord Jesus, at His PAROUSIA. 2 Thes. 2:8 

Christ is coming with flaming fire taking vengeance on the ungodly.  2 Thes. 1:9 

This event is to be associated with the gathering together of His saints unto Himself. 2 Thes. 2:10 

The Lord has a controversy with those who attack the City of the Lord, The Bride of Christ. It will be settled at the time of His return. Zechariah gives us a glimpse of what a terrible moment that will be. The intensity of it cannot even be guessed at for it is a happening which has never before taken place. He describes that mighty appearing in the language of an atom or a hydrogen bomb. It effects are identical to an explosive of that nature, only much more intense. Zech. 14:12 

The Lord made the whole of the universe and can at any moment remove the key elements that cause the whole to adhere and continue in their respective order. Man will never destroy the earth with his man made bombs. He can only scar it up a bit. The final destruction the Lord has reserved for Himself. He will not allow man to completely dissolve that which the Lord, Himself has created. Be certain that it will all be melted with the fervent heat of His coming. 2 Pet. 3:10

    ERIDANUS, the river of judgment. The second decan in ORION. 
Seen as a great river flowing from the east to the west. How interesting, in as much as Jesus is to come from the east to the west. Mt. 24:27 

The very essence of the Lord is that of a consuming fire. Heb. 12:29 

The fire of the Lord is revealed in the scriptures in a twofold manner. First, it is most pleasant and a joy to enter into the fire of the Lord, providing one is born of the Spirit. John the Baptist prophesied that Jesus would come baptizing with the Holy Ghost and fire.  Mat. 3:11 

The ecstasy of a true baptism of the Spirit and fire is joyous beyond words. The fire of the Holy Ghost is most agreeable and accomplishes a purging of the human spirit that is most necessary. The chaff, He separates and consumes. Luke 3:17 

The reason the church has so much chaff in it is that it has never been cleansed by fire. The very throne of the Lord is likened unto fire. There is also a fiery stream issuing from His throne which sweeps out over the vast multitude gathered before that throne. Their number is given as "thousand thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand". Dan. 7:9-10 

Isaiah posed an important question when he asked, who will dwell with the devouring fire. Isa. 33:14 

He then answered his own questions by indicating that it is the righteous who will dwell with the everlasting fire of the Lord upon them. Isa. 33:15-16 

The joy, the pleasure of the presence of the Lord is beyond explanation. It is something that has to be experienced. Eternity, in heaven is everlasting bliss.  


    HOWEVER, that which is a great blessing to some will be a sore judgment for others. The fiery stream will be an eternal judgment to the ungodly and the unsaved. The prophetic utterances of the Old Testament agree with the New Testament concerning the appearance of Christ. The Psalmist, stated that He will not keep silence, "He is coming with a shout, and the voice of the arch angel". 1 Thes. 4:16 

A devouring fire precedes Him and a howling tempest rages around Him. Ps. 50:3 

Again, a consuming fire destroying all His enemies is proclaimed in Ps. 97:3. 

This world had better know that the Lord has a controversy with the powers of darkness and unrighteousness and the LORD will win. Unfortunately, the unsaved will be caught in the midst of this battle and will suffer greatly and eternally because of it. The name of the LORD is coming from the heavenly with burning anger, lips filled with wrath and His tongue a consuming fire. That offers no hope whatsoever for the ungodly. Isa. 30:27 

The ultimate attempt of satan to destroy the city of the Lord will come after the second resurrection, the resurrection of he unrighteous. Satan will once again deceive his followers into an attack on the city of the Lord. It is called the battle of Gog and Magog. Rev. 20:7 

There has never been, nor will there ever be such a gathering of the forces of darkness and its adherents as this. It is the final confrontation and will result in the final destruction of all that is wicked. The fire of the LORD is exceedingly destructive. Rev. 20:9

    The third decan of ORION was known as, AURIGA The shepherd. There is no one who fits the requirements of a "good shepherd" like the Lord Jesus. Only He can manifest the leadership of a clean moral and lively Spiritual life. Therefore He was able to declare Himself the "good shepherd" for He was willing to give His life for His sheep. John 10:11

Jesus is the very best. The true shepherd is the one who has care and love for the sheep which is so strong that He will come between His sheep and danger in protecting them. The "good shepherd" will gladly give of Himself, entirely for the good or the life of the sheep. John 10:12 

There is a full and complete relationship between the "good shepherd" and His sheep. They know Him, they know His mannerism and His voice, so much so that they will not follow another. John 10:14 

Gladly, will He go so far as to lay down His life for His sheep. Thank the Lord for Calvary and the slain Lamb of God. He will only recognize the sheep of one fold, not yours nor mine but His. John 10:16 as the resurrected Lamb of God, He is to be known as the great shepherd of the sheep. Great in stature, great in accomplishment, great in power and great in the redemption of the souls of those who will seek Him. He is great in every possible meaning of the word. Heb. 13:20 

He is the shepherd to the shepherds, let alone the sheep. He is recognized as the chief shepherd. In this high and exalted position He is destined to come again and will bestow upon all His own a crown of the eternal glory of the living Lord. 1 Pet. 5:4

    GEMINI, THE TWINS. 
In the old Coptic language it was known as PI-MAHI, or the united, the completely joined. Outside of the Lord Himself, who is a perfect union, in absolute harmony, there is no greater coming together than that of Christ and His church, who will become His bride. The Apostle Paul likened the marriage of Christ to that of a husband and a wife. 

It is all of that for sure but reached far beyond the type of marriage that is so common today. This is in absolute perfection and holiness, between two who have reached the status of eternal beings. It is not of the earth, earthy but it is that which is wrought by the Spirit of the Lord. This bride is thoroughly sanctified. She has reached the apex of holiness and righteousness that is equal to her Bridegroom. She is a duplicate of Him.

They are like identical twins in word, thought and deed. He is the WORD, and the WORD dwells in her. Everything that He is, she is also. Eph. 5:25-29 

She is bound together in perfect unity of the faith. She has reached a place in Christ where she fully knows and comprehends Him. She has reached His measure of perfection. She fully measures up to all of the standards which He has established for her. Eph. 4:13 

While the Lord Jesus has established standards that are the very highest. They are not standards which cannot be reached by a people who will dedicate themselves fully to the Lord. The Word and the Spirit will guide the church into all righteousness. It sometimes looks like an impossibility but the Lord does not recognize impossibilities. With Him all things are possible.

    THE BRIGHTEST STARS OF GEMINI. 
    APOLLO, ruler or judge. Corresponding to the prophecy of a coming King. One who came from the lineage of David. A man from the tribe of Judah. That Branch, the one springing forth from the line of Jesse was to be the Branch, the root, the springing forth of righteousness. Truly, all righteousness is found in Christ and that righteousness is to be revealed in His people. He is a King and is building a kingdom. His reign is to be for one thousand years. A time of Spiritual prosperity, with justice and judgment for all. Jer. 23:5 

He is JEHOVAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jer. 23:6 

To show the close affinity that exists between Christ and His church, we find that she is to bear His name and all the glory and power that is involved in His name. She shall be called, "The LORD our righteousness". Jer. 33:16 

The man bearing that precious name, The Branch, is the architect and builder of the Temple of the Lord. Christ the foundation stone, members of the body of Christ, the living stone which comprise the living Temple of the Lord. 1 Pet. 2:4-5 

He, the Branch, Jesus, will build the temple and the kingdom and be its Priest and King, for He is All and in All. Zech. 6:13


    HE IS THE ROOT AND THE BRANCH. 
He came forth from a tree, a dynasty, which had been cut down to the roots. The natural, the earthly kingdom had been destroyed. Now, from that which was as good as dead, sprung forth life, natural and spiritual. 

The kingdom is not designed to be a worldly kingdom, but rather spiritual and eternal. Jesus is that living Branch that is a thing of beauty and certainly most glorious. The occupants of His realm will be like Him, holy and alive with the life of Christ. The members of His body will all have been washed and made pure by the Spirit of Holiness, the Spirit of judgment and the purging of the fire of the Holy Spirit. Isa. 4:2-4 

The people of the Lord, His body will be altogether righteous. A people of holiness and purity. They are the branch of His planting. They will enter into and share His eternal inheritance. They are the work of His very own hands. As he formed Adam and Eve so He will create His Bride and will endue her with the radiance of His great glory. His will, will be fulfilled. Isa. 60:21 

Concerning the natural people, they have provoked the Lord to anger because of their attitude and utter rejection of the Branch of the Lord. As a matter of fact, they put the branch to the nose, according to the prophet Ezekiel. Ezek. 8:17 

In this manner they demonstrated their utter disdain for that one who had come exclusively for
them. John 1:11 

By multiplied miracles and healing He manifest Himself to be the Son of God, yet He was rejected and despised by His very own people. Thankfully not all were in that category, for, to as many as would receive Him He gave the power to become the sons of God. What an amazing thing, the ability and power to possess His life and nature. John 1:12

    GEMINI, THE TWINS. Continued.
    THE BRIGHTEST STARS. APOLLO, ruler or judge. 
The arch angel Gabriel announce to Mary that He to whom she would give birth would be exceedingly great and would be acknowledged as the Son of the Highest. The Lord had appointed Him to occupy the throne of David. 

He is and ever will be a ruler, above and beyond all authorities that have been or will be in leadership positions. The kingdom which He established is an everlasting kingdom, therefore eternal and forever and ever. It is a kingdom which shall never end. It is very evident by the nature of that kingdom, that it is a spiritual and not a natural kingdom. 

As in the days of Christ, today too many are looking for a continuation of the world as it is now. The only change that they see is that of leadership. His kingdom is not of this world. Luke 1:29 

Jesus plainly stated that His kingdom was not of this world, for were it so His followers would have engaged in battle. John 18:36 

He has established for us a kingdom which cannot be moved. It cannot be overwhelmed or conquered it is established and will continue eternally. Heb. 12:28 Peter named it, "the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ" and so it is. 2 Peter 1:11 

How great, how eternal is that kingdom when it is prophesied that "of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end". To increase and abound is the nature of His kingdom, and of our Lord. Isa. 9:7 


    JESUS IS THE JUDGE. 
He will judge all nations as to their worthiness to gain entrance in to heaven or be rejected. Mt. 25:31-46

The Father has seen fit to surrender all judgment into the hands of the Son. The world will have to stand before Him. John. 5:22 

The day of judgment for the whole of the world is already marked on the calendar of the Lord. It has been appointed and will take place on schedule. The standard by which all will be judged is His Son, the man of righteousness, the Lord Jesus Christ. That all might know and understand the truth of this, God, the Father raised the Lord Jesus from the dead and exhalted Him to His
own right hand. Acts 17:31, Phil. 2:9 

The living and the dead will face instantaneous judgment, as to their eternal place of abode at the time of His appearing and the establishment of His kingdom. 2 Tim. 4:1 

As certain as life and death is the fact that every person born into his life will one day stand before the judgment seat of Christ and give an account of their life and the manner in which they lived it. None will be excluded from this event. Rom. 14:10 

John in the book of Revelation described it as a "great white throne". That in itself is an awesome sight. He saw the "books" being opened and judgment was determined by that which was recorded there. Does the Lord keep books on us? Or is it the moment of the revelation of the total recall that is recorded in our brains. Scientist have proven that our whole life is recorded in our brains and under the proper stimulation there is total recall. If ones name is recorded in the book of life they are automatically received into the kingdom of our Lord. If not, then it is the second death. Be sure your name is recorded there. Rev. 20:11-15

    GEMININ, THE TWINS. Continued with three more bright stars.


    HERCULES. Meaning, who comes to suffer and to labor. 
How wonderfully Hercules fits into a pattern and symbol of the Lord Jesus. The fact that Jesus was sent and accredited of God was proven among them by the miracles, signs and wonders which He performed. In that manner demonstrating the power of God while ministering in their midst. His works and Words were well known by those living in that day. The totality of His life had not been lived in a corner. Acts 2:22 


    AL HENAH, hurt and wounded. 
There is no other person who has ever suffered the hurt and wounding of body and spirit like the Lord Jesus. He is able and willing to help you in all of your hurts and trials. The will of the Lord is accomplished in strange and amazing ways. It was not difficult for the Lord to find wicked and vile men who would perform His will in the crucifixion of His Son. 

"In the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God", it had been established from eternity that the WORD, the Logos, would become flesh for the explicit purpose of becoming the LAMB of God. This is the only acceptable sacrifice for the forgiveness from and the cleansing of sin. It was not difficult for lawless transgressors of the Law to be found who would in their wicked intent and purpose, in guarding their religion, condemn and crucify the Lord of glory. Acts. 2:23


    WASAT, Set, seated or put in place. 
Even now, in our time the proof of His ascension and exhalation to the throne of God is witnessed. As He did on the day of Pentecost He is yet doing today. He gave them the sign, and the assurance, that He was exactly where He said He would be by baptizing one hundred twenty in the Holy Ghost and fire. He has not changed His method of giving witness and testimony, for He yet baptizes with the Spirit, as He did on the day of Pentecost. 

What exceeding great rejoicing there must have been in heaven when the Father reached out His right hand to receive the conquering Lord Jesus back into His rightful place. The Father had already prophesied through David, that He would with rejoicing and great gladness, extend to the man, Christ Jesus the right and privilege of occupying His throne with Him. 

Like His death, burial and resurrection His exhalation to the right hand of God and to His throne was preplaned and predetermined. The Lord does nothing by happenstance. What a thrill to know that the filling of the Spirit is a direct result of Calvary and His return and ascension into the glorious presence of His Father. How privileged we are to have a positive witness, through the Spirit that the whole of the Gospel and life of Christ is true and very real. Acts 2:33 

Jesus Christ is indeed the same yesterday, today, and forever more. May the WORD and the SPIRIT combine and work in all of our hearts until all know beyond a shadow of a doubt that these things are true.

    THE FIRST DECAN OF GEMINI.

    LEPUS, the enemy trodden underfoot. 

CAPTIVITY TAKEN CAPTIVE.
Satan has a certain future when his head will be completely crushed by the heel of the Lord Jesus.  Gen. 3:15 

In all of the skirmishes and battles up to date the Lord Jesus has been gloriously victorious. Ultimately He will completely destroy the destroyer. In the victories thus far we note that 
captivity has been take captive. LOOSED. Therefore, not only are we forgiven of our sin but we are loosed and freed from them all. Eph. 4:8


DEATH DEFEATED. 
Jesus used the greatest power of the devil to defeat him, that is death. Christ entered into death itself by dying on the cross but was then raised from the dead by the glory of the Father. In this fashion He snatched the power of death from the devil and thoroughly defeated both death and the devil. In the meantime delivering those who follow satan from the fear of death. Death is but a passage from this dreary world and all its problems into the light and joy of heaven. Heb. 2:14-15 


DEVILISH WORKS DESTROYED. 
All the works of unrighteousness and ungodliness are the works of the devil. From the very beginning he committed sin, and subsequently led the whole of humanity into lives of sin. 

However, the coming of Christ into this world was for the purpose of the destruction of the works of the devil. In the power of the New Birth and a life of following the Lord Jesus the works of the devil are broken in our lives. We no longer follow satan's will but the will of the Lord Jesus. That old life style is gone.

Hallelujah, Jesus reigns in our hearts. 1 John 3:8-9 


THE ENEMY PUT TO SHAME. 
Jesus disarmed, ripped from his hands, his authority and power. The devil is defeated and does not have the power that too many attribute to Him. Say what the WORD says, Jesus was victorious! Moreover, Jesus put on public display the fact of His victory. In so doing, Jesus caused the devil to suffer public exposure before all the hosts of heaven, earth and even hell. Jesus has been openly embarrassed and defeated him. Col. 2:15


INCARCERATED. 
The prison house of his own making and depraved works will be his eternal abode. It will be well furnished with every degenerate spirit and human being who have followed him. Positively a place to be avoided. His first incarceration comes at the close of the tribulation period when he will be taken captive and bound in the Abyss for one thousand years. The millennial age. Rev. 20:1-3. 

He is due to be released for a brief moment at the close of the millennium to attempt some further dirty work and destruction. For the final time he is defeated. He will then be returned to his prison house. His eternal abode is called "the lake of fire". There are some of his very special cohorts awaiting him at that time, the antichrist and the false prophet. 

That is certain to make one unhappy combination of those who had tried to usurp the authority of the Lord Himself, only to be defeated. The torments of that place never cease. There never has been a prison or a prison camp to which this may be compared. The hurt, the pain, the suffering, the agony of this one beggars description. Rev. 20:10

    OTHER NAMES APPLIED TO LEPUS.
    BASHTI-BAKI. The offender confounded. 
Certainly most applicable to the devil. He is the offender, has always been, and will be until the Lord steps in and removes him. He is presently, the accuser, standing before the Lord with accusations against the redeemed of the Lord. He is one busy individual. 

It is almost with a sigh of relief that the loud voice heaven from announces that the time for the manifestation of the salvation, the strength, the kingdom of God and the power of His Christ is being made evident and the process and unfolding of the end has come. War will reach, even into heaven itself. Michael, the archangel whose name means, who is like God?

There is no question about who Michael is, for He is Christ. He, with His angels will triumph and the devil, that old serpent, the dragon will be cast out of heaven, permanently. He will never again find a place in heaven. He will never again be able to stand before the Lord and accuse the brethren. All of his efforts will be completely frustrated and confounded. Rev. 12:7-10 


    THE BRIGHTEST STARS. NIBAL, the mad. 
Will he ever be infuriated. Mad and angry do not convey sufficiently his attitude when he is dealt with in such a manner. Heaven and its occupants rejoice greatly as the scum of heaven has been cast out. 

The devil is filled with great wrath. He is cast out into the earth and there is a special warning to the earth and those that dwell there at this time. He will vent his great wrath on all who dwell on the earth at that moment. 

He is well aware that his time is limited. He is coming to the conclusion of his effectiveness and work. He will turn his great desire for revenge, against the church, the woman of Revelation twelve, but the Lord will deliver her. That could only make him that much more angry. Rev. 12:12-14  


SUGIA, the deceiver. 
The greatest deception that has ever been perpetrated against mankind is yet to come. John saw this person arising from the soil of the earth, from among the masses of humanity. 

He gives the impression of having a lamb like nature but his voice is that of the dragon. He does not speak the Word of the Lord but the words of satan. As a matter of fact he is the mouthpiece of the dragon and the antichrist. He has great power and authority and will manifest the same power that is seen in the antichrist. 

This man is the false prophet. He uses his position and power to cause those dwelling on the earth to worship the antichrist. He will exhibit great signs and wonders all with the purpose of deceiving the multitudes into thinking that the Trinity has visited the earth. Rev. 13:11-14 

False prophets will show up in sheep's clothing while inwardly they are mad, ravening wolves. Their intent is not to bless but to mislead and create confusion. Mt. 7:15 

Not all who claim to be prophets of the Lord are true prophets. The Lord will first speak to you and then may or may not confirm it by a prophetic utterance. Be alert and watching unto prayer. The church will be tested but in the end will be victorious. 





          SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19. 65

    CANIS MAJOR OR SIRUS. The second decan. 
Meaning, the Coming Glorious Prince. Jesus, is the Prince of Life. The leader, the first in rank,
power and authority. He is supreme above all potentates, kings, presidents, dictators and any other person of command or control. As the Prince of Life He gave His life and was crucified. But, God His Father raised Him from the dead and He continues as the source of all life, natural and spiritual. Acts 3:15 

To show His extreme authority, the Father exalted Jesus to His own right hand. Now, as a Prince and the Savior He occupies the throne of God where He brings men to repentance and issues a pardon and forgiveness for sin. This is the highest tribunal in the universe and the only source of absolute forgiveness. Acts 5:31 


    HE IS, PRINCE OF THE KINGS OF THE EARTH. He is unique. 
None can even begin to compare to Him. He is ruler over the hosts of heaven as well as ruler over the kingdoms and nations of the earth. He is the faithful witness. All truth emanates from Him. He is the very essence of truth, that is truth personified. He is living proof of the existence of life that is eternal prepared by God for man. 

His tremendous love for humanity drove Him to the cross, where, by His sacrifice we are afforded washing from our sins, by His most precious blood. As blood maintains natural life in our bodies, so His blood is the only source of life eternal. Rev. 1:5 

In displaying His absolute authority He likewise elevates those who are His to the position of kings and priests unto the Lord. An eternal ministry before the Lord. Rev. 1:6 


    APES, so named in the Zodiac of Denderah. Meaning the head. Once again it is the Christ of God who is illustrated here in one of the many aspects of His being and character. Paul stated that the head of every man is Christ. He is our example, our guide, one by whom all may shape and form their lives in truth and righteousness. 1 Cor. 11:3 

He most definitely is the head to the church. He has established the standards whereby His people may live and find their way into His everlasting kingdom. It is He who establishes the criterion and mode of life that will bring the church to its perfection. Eph. 1:22 

The vitality and necessity of spiritual growth is that we "grow up" to bear His likeness. The body must be equal to and complement the head. Eph. 4:15 

The marriage of the Lamb necessitates that the bride is comparable to the bridegroom in every aspect. There is no way that the body can be less than the head. Christ Jesus is the Savor of the body and His intent is that she be made like unto Himself. Eph. 5:23 

He will not marry an inferior bride. She must be everything that He is, in all things. The standard of His expectation and requirement for the bride is essentially spelled out in Eph. 5:26-27 

Holy and thoroughly washed by the WORD. A glorious, radiant, glowing church, filled to the fullness with the glory of the Lord. A company of the redeemed who are manifesting and living the very righteousness of the Lord Himself. They are completely like Him, even to the smallest detail.

    THE BRIGHTEST STARS OF CANIS MAJOR.

    SIRUS, The Prince. 
Jesus is the Prince of Peace. This is the fifth tittle ascribed to Him in Isaiah 9:6. 

Five is the number of atonement. Jesus is our peace by way of atonement. He is the true Shalom, Hebrew, [ Safe, i.e. (figuratively) well, happy, friendly, also (abstractly) welfare, i.e. health, prosperity, peace. Strong's]. 

Everything for which man searches after and desires is found in the Lord Jesus. It is the New Man who enjoys the peace of the Lord which passes all comprehension. 

Barriers, religious and racial are broken down and destroyed where the Prince of Peace reigns. His peace brings unity of heart, mind and purpose. Eph. 2: 14-15. 

It is He who goes before us and enlightens the pathway of eternal peace. Luke 1:79

Those who accept the justification that He offers find themselves possessing peace of heart and spirit through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:1 

He suffered the pangs of shame and death on the cross that through His shed blood, we might obtain peace. The immensity of the price that He paid for us is the greatest price that ever will be paid for any commodity that has or ever will be purchased. Col. 1:20 

He is the God of Peace, having created the TRUE covenant and sealing it with His own precious blood. The Father raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand. There He is both, the Prince of Peace and the Great Shepherd of the sheep. Jesus is Lord of all and for all. Heb. 13:20 

In Persian this star was named TISTAR, the chieftain. The Lord Jesus is the CHIEF SHEPHERD, the true and great shepherd of the sheep. The one for whom we patiently wait. It is He  who will crown His own with that eternal, bright, glowing crown of glory at His coming. 1 Peter 5:4


    WESEN. the shining one. He who is the light of the world shines with the glory of the Lord. Those who follow Him will not walk in darkness but have found the path of light and life everlasting. John 8:12 

What a tremendous display of the glory of the Lord was made manifest when He was transformed [Greek. metamorphoo, metamorphoses] before them. Those with Him described His appearance as possessing a face "shining with the sun" and His clothing "was as white as the light".  Mt. 17:2 

"His raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow". No laundry, soap or bleach could duplicate that whiteness. Mark. 9:2 

Translated as "dazzling white" NIV. "Glittering" Young's. "Gleam, flash intently" Strong's. 

These men were permitted to see Jesus in His heavenly, eternal glory and what a sight they saw. For all the words attempting to convey the majestic splendor of the Christ of God at that particular moment of time. 

We must know that His glory and grandeur far exceed any brilliancy that we have ever seen or even imagined. The world will see His splendor at the time of His second coming [Parousia, rapture]. That blazing glory will completely destroy the antichrist and his kingdom. 2 Thes. 2:8

    A THIRD BRIGHT STAR IN CANAS MAJOR.

    ADHARA, the glorious. 
Jesus, the Revelatory is made manifest to John on Patmos as a glorious and marvelous figure. Majestically clothed with a long robe. The robe, indicating His honor and respect. The golden sash around His chest, His righteousness and deity. Rev. 1:13 

The white hair of His head, His purity and eternity. His blazing eyes beholding the works of men. His gaze can be one of blessing or judgment. Rev. 1:14 

His feet as bronze glowing as if though yet in the furnace. Again, they may be feet of destruction or blessing. Depending on the spiritual condition of the individual standing before Him. His voice, glorious and wonderful for those who love and appreciate Him. Fearful and awesome for those who do not know Him as savior and Lord. Rev. 1:15 

Isaiah saw the Lord clothed in the same manner and his train filled the whole of the temple, even as His Spirit will fill the whole of the body of Christ. Isa. 6:1 


    AL-HARBOR, the mighty. 
Of the power and the might of the Lord Jesus there is no end. His strength is positively limitless. There is no situation or task that He is not able to perform. The beauty of the created universe in which we live, the earth with all of its splendor and grandeur are the works of His command. Heb. 1:10 

That same scope of creative force is directed to, and bestowed upon His dearly beloved people. There is no boundary to the "exceeding greatness of His power" to the believer. It is the exhibition and the fulfilling of that enormous strength That is the hope and desire of those who love Him. It is motivated by our faith and trust in Him. Lord, increase our faith. The possibilities afforded the children of the Lord infinite as we receive and enter into the gift of His might that has been made available to us. Eph. 1:19 

That mighty force has been demonstrated in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Death, the grave, satan with his power of death, could not hold the Son of God in death. The raising of Christ from the tomb demonstrated the ability of the Lord to conquer every foe, the "last enemy", the ultimate enemy is death. He triumphed over it and will soon eliminate it entirely. 1 Cor. 15:26


    JESUS EXALTED. Not only was Jesus raised from the dead but He has been enthroned at the right hand of the Father, in heavenly places. Eph. 1:20 

There He is firmly and eternally established and has made all other rule, authorities, powers, dominions and titles, not only those which exist now but those which shall be in eternity, all are in subjection to Him. 

He is the very supreme exhibition of the power and strength of God. All are under His feet. Complete leadership and control are in His hands. The beauty of all this is that He is the head of the church and all that majesty and glory is most certainly to be made manifest in the church. 

As His body. what He is, we too are to become. ALL of His power and majesty is made available to us. Lets dare to enter into our heritage. It is there for us now. Eph. 1:21-22

    CANIS MINOR, the third decan. Known as the exalted redeemer. 
By His death on the cross Christ disarmed the powers and authorities of darkness. Revealing life after death as a reality. Every opposition, every temptation that a human being faces in life He overcame. Exposing their weakness and frailties and putting them to a very public defeat. Col. 2:14-15 

Jesus triumphed fully and completely showing us the way of everlasting life. Jesus took the full curse of the Law upon Himself. He took our place of condemnation and guilt and in so doing He has freed forever those who will come to Him. Gal. 3:13 

How fully and completely He has accomplished our redemption. His grace has liberally caused us to be justified thoroughly. So complete is the work of His redemption that those who are redeemed stand absolutely justified in His sight. No fault, no sin can be held against them. Rom. 3:24 


    ONE OF THE BRIGHTEST STARS IS PROCYCON. The Redeemer. 
This time the focus is on the person who occupies the office of the redeemer. There is no redemption outside of the Lord Jesus. 

Isaiah, the prophet spoke of him after this manner, "He shall bear their iniquities". The sin and unrighteousness for which we are guilty. That which we have committed, He bore Himself. He the guiltless one, He willingly gave of Himself that He might redeem the whosoever will. 

The travail of His soul satisfied the demand of God that sin be punished, therefore the guilty are justified by the sacrifice of the guiltless one. His crucifixion was sufficient for all of mankind and for all of time. Isa. 53:11 

His work at Calvary brought forth redemption for all who died under the Law. The promise was given to them but not completed under the Law. Heb. 11:40 

None had been previously justified. It also reached out to the last individual to be born into this world. A work of redemption that is sufficient and complete but which must be accepted in order for it to be effective in our hearts. The sign of the redeemed is a righteous life following the pattern that He established. Rom. 3:24 
 

 THE SECOND BRIGHTEST STAR IS, GOMESIA. The burdened, bearing for others. 
The full burden and heaviness of sin and iniquity was laid upon Him as He went to the cross. One never realizes the tremendous burden and horrific condemnation that sin brings until they have been pardoned and completely forgiven of all their sin. When that heavy load is gone we can look back and understand what glorious liberty He has purchased for us. 1 Pet. 2:24 

Not only was He loaded down with the burden of the sin of the world but He also paid the price for our deliverance from sickness and disease. Mt. 8:17 

Those born of the Spirit have the right and God given ability to live a life of true holiness and righteousness before the Lord. We have been made free from sin. The power of unrighteousness that once controlled us has been broken and we are now free. Rom. 6:22

    OTHER NAMES ATTRIBUTED TO THIS CONSTELLATION.

    KLARIA, in the zodiac of Denderah. Cattle folds or resting places.
The Lord said that He would pasture His people. He will watch over them and care for them in every way. Eze. 34:13-14 

Those committed to Him find that there is peace and quietness in the midst of the storm, when He is their guide. He has promised to lead us beside the still waters, into a tranquillity that only He can give. Ps. 23:2


    ALSARTA'N. Arabic, He who holds or binds together. 
The humanity and differences of opinion in many facets relating to the church have kept the church divided. Already there are many signs of a breakdown in the walls that men have built. The prophetic utterances of the Word will come to pass. 

The Lord will have one church in these last days. Nothing will be able to hinder His resolve to have a people exactly fitting His image and likeness. Through the prophet Ezekiel He said that He would "set up one shepherd" to be a shepherd to His people. Their ruler and shepherd was to be Jesus (David) who would create a covenant of peace causing them to dwell safely. Eze. 34:23-25 

Jesus likewise proclaimed that there would be one shepherd and one fold. What a glorious prospective. Do we anticipate the mulligan of voices and doctrines to be all squashed together into one?

NO, His true body will be in perfect unity in every aspect of its being. To be a part of that fold will demand some drastic changes in the attitudes and doctrines of those who would participate. John 10:16  


    SUKULNA, ancient Accadian. 
Meaning, the seizer or [possessor of seed. Jesus spoke plainly and stated that the "seed is the WORD of GOD". The life giving seed originates from only one source and that is the living WORD, the Lord Jesus. Luke 8:11 

One sure measurement that we should always use in evaluating a message or a prophetic utterance is the WORD. If what is said is contrary to the WORD it is false and should be rejected. Isa. 8:20 

To rid ourselves of the works and thoughts of the flesh there needs to be a planting of the good seed, the Word of the Lord. It will crowd out all that is not of the Lord and create a clean heart and life. James 1:21


All spiritual birth is predicated on the Word. That imperishable seed, the Word of the Lord which is eternal, everlasting. 1 Pet. 1:23 

Jesus, in that which is indeed, our Lords prayer, prayed for the unity of His people. That unity is beyond all human abilities to perform. It is an absolute blending together into one unit. Jesus likened it to the Godhead and the oneness of purpose and direction that is displayed throughout the Word of the Lord. It supersedes anything that is the mere effort of human beings and enters into that which is Godlike. John 17:11

    THE BRIGHTEST STARS.

    TEGMINE, holding. Being steadfast and true. 
This was found to be a portion of the character of the saints at Philipi. They appreciated and held forth the Word of the Lord. An excellent characteristic for any individual or church body. The Word is our life and mainstay. Phil. 2:16 

Paul urged Timothy to hold on, to maintain his faith and a good conscience. Wonderful instructions to which all Christians do well to give heed. Writing to Titus Paul gave excellent counsel to hold fast the faithful Word. That which gives us instruction in the truth as it is in the Lord Jesus. Titus 1:9


    ACUBENE, the sheltering or the hiding place. The name of JEHOVAH is the permanent and ever present place of shelter and refuge. His name is the strong tower of the righteous. We need but to call upon His name and He is ever present to save, deliver and see to it that we are delivered from all danger. Pr. 18:10 

The name of the LORD is a precious name. It is all powerful and is a name that surely is loved and appreciated by all who know Him as Lord and Savior. Isa. 56:6 

His name has been given us to use under all circumstances. There is great power and authority in His name. Our words and our deeds are all to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus. Following the pattern of the Word we cannot help but be successful in all of our endeavors, as long as they are done to the praise and glory of His name. Col. 3:17


    MA'ALPHA, assembled thousands. 
Jude related this assemblage of a great multitude to the second coming of the Lord Jesus. He gave the number as being "ten(s of) thousands" of His saints but does not tell us how many tens of thousands. For one thing we may be certain that it will a very great multitude. Jude 14 

So vast and great is the number of saints and angels accompanying Him at His coming that they are seen as huge clouds, and the word cloud is in the plural. John, on Patmos had a vision of the Coming of the Lord and declared that He would be coming with "clouds". Also, that every eye should see Him. That involves all the peoples of the earth, both the living and the dead. Specifically mentioned are those who pierced or crucified Him. While they are long dead, they along with all the others who have died will see His second coming. It is not an action of the Lord that will be done in secret, but very openly. Rev. 1:7 

Another factor of His coming which illustrates the vast number of those who accompany Him is in what is called "the armies of heaven". Note that they are plural, the army of the redeemed and the angelic army. Who can know their number. Most certainly a vast and awesome multitude. They are seen as riding on white [Gr. leukos, light] horses, their steeds are "light". While
they, themselves are clothed in fine linen garments, white [leukos] and pure. Certainly there are no stables in heaven. Their mode of transportation is light as well as their garb. What a sight, this great orb of light descending from heaven. Glorious to those awaiting His coming. Most frightening for the unsaved. Rev. 19:14

    THE FIRST DECAN OF CANCER. URSA MINOR, the little bear, the
lesser sheepfold. 
In spite of all the promises made to Abraham and his descendants and the subsequent fulfillment of the same. There was one, yet to come who would introduce a greater and a better way. Abraham was blessed of MELCHISEDEC (Christ) indicating that a superior priesthood and manner of worship was to come. Heb. 7:7 

This did not exclude the first but indicated that the first [the Law] was dependent and included in the second, that which was preferred and complete. 

The first was ineffective without the second which is redemption through the shed blood of Christ. 

The second was the vital and most necessary in order for the first to have
any benefit at all. Heb. 11:40


    THE BRIGHTEST STARS.

    KOCHAB, the star, (waiting for Him who cometh). 
For all the inner conflict in the church at Thyatira, the promise was made to him that overcame, that he would receive, as a reward, the "morning star". Rev. 2:28 

Christ is that morning star. He is called the "dayspring from on high". The dawning of a new day and a new life for all who will see Him and recognize Him as their savior and redeemer. The new birth is likened by Peter to "the day dawn, and the daystar arise in your hearts". 2 Pet. 1:19

Speaking of course of the glorious breaking forth of the new day and glorious sun rising of the presence of Christ in our hearts. The star, the fullness of the light of the magnificent Gospel of Christ filling our inner being with that majestic eternal light. We must remember that the LORD God is a SUN and shield. Ps. 84:11 

There is no greater concentration of light than that which is the LORD Himself. He is a light greater than all the suns [stars, all stars are suns], greater by far than all the accumulated shining of all the created light bodies in the universe. He is the greatest light of all, for He is very light itself. 1 John 1:5 

Darkness cannot exist in His presence. Just as the morning sun dispels the darkness of night, so Christ replaces the darkness of our past life with His wonderful light. In the eternal order the LORD will be, among other things, what the sun is now to this earth. 

The current heavenly bodies created by the Lord will no longer exist. 

As life on earth is now dependent on the sun, so in eternity the flow of life will emanate from the LORD, the everlasting light. A light which will never be hidden by clouds nor will it ever go down. Isa. 60:19-20


Jesus Himself, identified Himself as the light of the world, the light of life, that is eternal as well as natural life. John 8:12 

Paul, on Mars hill, declared that "in Him we live and move, and have our being". Jesus is the only source of life of any kind or sort. Acts 17:28 

The ultimate and eternal dwelling place of all the redeemed of all the ages is to be that marvelous New Jerusalem. The only source of light and the subsistence of life is the LORD Himself. For the glory of God and the Lamb will be its very special, glowing, scintillating light. Rev. 21:23

    BRIGHTEST STARS. Continued.

    AL PHERICADAIN, the calves, the redeemed. 
Under the Law the blood of animals was used extensively for atonement, covering both the tabernacle and the people. The futility of such sacrifices is noted in the words of the author of the book of Hebrews. Written by an Hebrew, for Hebrews, when he said, “it is IMPOSSIBLE for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.” Heb. 10:4 

The efficacy of the rivers of blood that flowed, as Israel of old made sacrifice, were meaningless were it not for the shedding of the only blood that the Lord recognizes, the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only true sacrifice. He entered into heaven and into the Most Holy Place, the very throne of the Lord, with His own precious blood.

It is the one and only blood whereby any man will ever gain entrance into the kingdom of the Lord. Jesus Himself, as the son of man, was granted access to heaven and the throne by His blood alone. There He brought forth eternal redemption for us. Every animal of sacrifice was but a symbol of the sacrificed Son. Heb. 9:12


    AL KAID, the assembled, the gathered together. The Lord had Moses assemble the people of Israel together that they might hear the will and instructions of the Lord. They were not to be ignorant of the will and directions of the Lord. Ex. 35:1 

The New Testament order is still to assemble together. Especially as we see the end of the age approaching. Heb. 10:25 

It is wonderful to see that denominational walls are being eroded and on a world wide scale there is a coming together in our day. The Lord has only one church and that church will be united in one Spirit and Word. It is impossible that His prayer for unity not be fulfilled. Joined together with the Godhead and in the same unity that exists in the Godhead. John 17:11 


    Also called the chariot or chair. Another name applied is, SEPTENTRIONES, comprised of seven stars. This is one of the mysteries of the book of Revelation. The seven stars in the hand of the Son of man, the Lord Jesus. These stars were revealed to be the Pastors of the seven churches in Asia. In His hand they shine with the glory of the Lord as the stars of heaven. They are the shepherds, the teachers enlightening the churches as to the will of the Lord. Rev. 1:20 

The complete number of stars in this constellation is said to be twenty-four. Surrounding the throne of the Lord are twenty-four thrones. Jesus promised the twelve Apostles that they would sit in His presence on twelve thrones. Mt. 19:28 

These thrones are a New Testament order, therefore will be occupied by men who have been used to develop and build the church of the Lord Jesus. The full complement of twenty-four is made up by the twelve stars found in the crown of the woman of Revelation twelve. They are the last day leaders of a perfect church.

    URSA MAJOR. The great bear, the great sheepfold. The prophet Obadiah speaks of a subject that is yet in the future. His message bears the dominance of that which is spiritual over that which is natural and carnal. The true Sion of the Lord is Spiritual Sion. There is salvation in no other name, but the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 4:12 

Mount Sion is the throne city of the living God. It is the heavenly, the eternal Jerusalem. Heb. 12:22

This is the city of those who have eternal life in the Lord Jesus. Its occupants have either come up in the first resurrection or were transported there by the Spirit of the Lord. The city is absolute holiness as well as the people who compose the city. There is nothing whatsoever that corrupts or that is sinful that will ever be found in that city. The city is the place of the 
righteous King, the Lord Jesus, whom He has established forever. Ps. 2:6

Therefore, Obadiah termed the city to be deliverance and holiness. The house of Jacob are they who are the Spirit filled. Of the three patriarchs whom the Lord used to build Israel, it is Jacob who is a type of the Holy Spirit. Abraham of the Father. Isaac of the Lord Jesus. This is their inheritance which they will possess eternally. Obadiah 17.


    THE LIGHT OF ISRAEL. The same person who is called the light of the world, the Lord Jesus, will be a burning fire destroying the filth and worldliness of the church. The Holy One of the Lord will burn and devour the thorns and briars, sin and iniquity, by the flaming fire of the Word and the Spirit. Isa. 10:17 

Too much today the emphasis is on tongues and not on the fire and flame. The promise of the Word is that He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost AND WITH FIRE!  Mt. 3:11 Luke 3:16 

While tongues are a sign, they are far less important than the fire of the Holy Spirit, Who by the purging and purifying flame of the Lord sanctifies and cleanses the dross from the spirit and life of the natural man. The house of Jacob and that of Joseph [Ephraim] are to be a fire and a flame that will burn the stubble and the dross called Esau, a type of that which is counterfeit and of the flesh. Obadiah 18 

In the days of the prophet Ezekiel there were two nations, Judah and Israel. Israel was the northern kingdom known as Israel or Samaria. Any prophecies or promises made during that period of time in relationship to a nation known as Israel was directed at that northern kingdom. Therefore, if Israel is the subject it is referring to the ten lost tribes of Israel who were dispersed by the Lord. Note the prophesy of Eze. 36:17-19 

The Lord knows who and where they are. The prophecies directed toward them will be fulfilled. The Lord ordered Ezekiel to take two sticks and write upon them the names of the two kingdoms. Miraculously the two sticks were to become united, one in his hand. Eze. 37:16-17 

This can only be accomplished by the Spirit of the Lord. Unity is found in Christ. The nation of Israel, the nation of Judah and the combined nations of the world can only come to unity and peace as their nature is changed into that new nature that is found in the body of Christ.   
  




   SPEECH AND KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEAVENS. PSALM 19.  74

    URSA MAJOR RECOGNIZED BY JOB. 
In this manner we know that the stars and their names were known by the ancients, even by spiritual men such as Job. The Hebrew for Arcturus [Aash] translates into the great bear, never setting and always revolving around the pole star. In an interesting twist, the name Elna’sch, given it in Arabic means a bier, which is formed by four stars thus creating a square or a bier. The three stars following the bier are the mourners which follow the bier. All of which is certainly a reminder of the death of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus. Job 9:9

The Lord knows the exact number of the stars and has Himself named them all. Ps. 147:4 

We are urged to lift up our eyes and behold the heavens, thereby recognizing that they had to have had a creator. Nothing, but nothing in nature just happens. All of creation follows a set pattern. All seed bearing like seed. The work of His hands is so apparent in the heavens and in all of nature which surrounds us. He has created the host of the heavens and named them. Whether or not we have the original names, at one time He named them all. Isa. 40:26


    THE BRIGHTEST STARS.

    DUBE, meaning a flock. The Lord Jesus who is related by the scriptures to be the Good shepherd, John 10:11. 

The great shepherd, Heb. 13:20 and the Chief shepherd 1 Pet. 5:4 would naturally expect those undershepherds to have the same attitude as is found in Christ toward the sheep of His pasture. Therefore they are exhorted to “FEED THE SHEEP” - to give them that whereby they may grow and become mature sheep or Christians. 

It is a service which is exercised before the Lord. It is not a job, or a profession, nor a source of finances, but a calling and the offering of oneself in servitude unto the Lord, with the divine responsibility of ministering the Word of the Lord to His flock, 1 Pet. 5:2


    MERACH, Arabic, the flock purchased. The true flock of the Lord Jesus has been purchased by Him. His death On Calvary and the shedding of His precious blood was the awesome price that was paid for the salvation of every man ever to be born into this world. There never has been a greater price paid for the purchase of any commodity nor will there ever be a cost so great. The very blood of God Himself was poured forth on that tree. Our blood originates from our father. 

Having placed such tremendous value on the flock of His purchase He has great concern that His flock be properly cared for and watched over. Here again we find the instruction to the shepherds who are in care of the flocks to feed them. There is a great bleating of the sheep in the church world today because the shepherd is not feeding the flock the WORD OF THE LORD. Awake of shepherds and feed the flock of the Lord. Acts 20:28

    THE THIRD DECAN OF CANCER, ARGO. The ship, the pilgrims safe at home. 
The true child of the Lord, walking in the sanctity of His presence can be nothing but a pilgrim and stranger here on his earth. With the “let down” of high spiritual standards in the church there has been more and more evidence of fleshly lusts fighting against a life of commitment and separation unto the Lord. In spite of the force and onslaught of the powers of darkness, the Lord will find a people of true and deep consecration to Him, in these last days. 1 Pet. 2:11 

Peter gives an excellent Word of instruction for those who would live holy lives in the Lord Jesus. v. 11-21


    THE BRIGHTEST STARS.

    SEPHENA, the multitude of the good. 
The concept of some pertaining to heaven follows the pattern of Psalms 23. However much the opposite is presented to us in the book of Revelation. Here we find a “great multitude” gathered before the throne of the Lord. 

They are lifting their voices in worship and adoration to the Lord of Hosts. The sound of their voices, combined together give the sound of rushing mighty waters, perhaps like the roar of a mighty waterfall. Their voices resonate like the booming of great and mighty thundering. There is no sound quite like the praises of a redeemed multitude lifting their voice together in praise unto the Lord. 

The voice of the righteous, in heaven or earth is glorious and unique. There is a harmony and a unity which can never be matched by a crowd on earth cheering their champion. The sound of the saved multitude is most glorious and marvelous. Rev. 19:6


    SOHIEL, that which is desired. 
The Lord will fulfill the spiritual desires of His people. So many in the church are desiring the things, the fame and fortune of this life. They are being urged on by men who themselves are seeking after the so called, good life. This attitude has been noted in the prophecies of the Word of the Lord. 

At the same time there are members of he body of Christ who are hungering and thirsting after righteousness and the glory of the Lord. The hearts desire which is abundantly satisfied will be the manifestation of the glory of the Lord in the midst of His people. He has promised to fill “this house” with all the glory and splendor of Himself. Hag. 2:7 

The glory of the latter house will be so much greater than the glory of the first. The glory of the first was the beginning, the glory of the latter is the consummation. The glory has increased and reached that abounding state by the time of the completion of the latter house. Hag. 2:9 

Like the wine, created by the Lord Jesus, the best has been reserved for the last. The climax of the glory of the Lord is in the end of the age. There is no measure of the manifest power and glory which will be made known in these last days. Our anticipation is high and the Lord will not disappoint us in any way. His glory will soon be seen in His church to its fullness.

    AL ASAD, Arabic. The lion leaping forth as a flame. 
How aptly this relates to the second coming of the Lord Jesus. It is the moment when He is revealed, visibly made known, to the world. It is that instant when the anger and fury of the Lord will be unleashed against those who hold or wrest the truth by their ungodly lives. The second coming of Christ is precisely at the minute of time when sin and unrighteousness has reached its apex. Rom. 1:18 

That day is the day when the works of men will be put to the test by the fire of the Lord. Their deeds will be thoroughly inspected and judgment passed on them. 1 Cor. 3:13 

To those who are in Christ, His coming will be the revelation of His great and eternal glory, not the flames of judgment. Those who are the Lords will become full and absolute partakers of His glory which is to be revealed. 1 Pet. 5:1 It is that blessed experience when His saints of all ages will be the recipients of His everlasting glory. Col. 3:3 

When Jesus comes in the glory of His kingdom, the redeemed will receive a crown of glory that will never fade away. 1 Pet. 5:4 

Along with that they will also receive the crown of righteousness. 2 Tim. 4:8


    That which is beautiful and marvelous to one group is extreme fear and awe to the other, the unsaved group. The flaming fire is indicative of His full and ultimate judgment. The revelation of the hosts of heaven returning with Him will create the greatest fear in the hearts of men that has ever been known. While men may not know the details, there is in their hearts a knowledge that someday the world will come to an end and that there will be a Judgment Day. That day will be the day when the world and all that is in it will feel the flaming fiery manifestation of the wrath of 
the All Mighty. 2 Pet. 3:7 

What a gruesome and horrible day that will be when He comes as a thief in the night and the heavens explode with a tremendous noise. The molecular structure of all the creation of the Lord will melt from the enormous heat and flames of His presence. All the works of men in their entirety will be completely destroyed by His fiery presence. The cities, the buildings, all things created by man will be utterly consumed from off the face of the earth and will no longer exist nor be retained in the memories of the redeemed. 2 Pet. 3:10 

It is obvious that the Lord has prepared to reward His people with a city and a life with which there is no comparison. His kingdom is a land without tears, sorrow, death, crying or pain for the former things will have all passed away. Rev. 21:4 

We are bound for a phenomenal life of NEW THINGS. Almost everyone likes new things. That which the Lord has prepared for those who love and serve Him is beyond the ability of man to grasp. We will live in His presence throughout eternity. Rev. 21:1
